    Recipe:
    Stew beef
    1 lime ( you'll need 1 tablespoon of it)
    1 onion
    2 red potatoes
    1 bag of frozen okra
    2 tablespoon olive oil
    1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
    2 tablespoon of Haitian spice
    2 Roma tomatoes
    2 Maggie cubes
    12 cloves poked in a piece of bell pepper
    thyme
    parsley
    2 teaspoon of tomato paste
    6 cups of water (4 cups for cooking the meat and 2 for the gravy)

    I hated okra as a child , now omg i am crazy in love with it, i put with chicken, turkey wings, oxtail, i even put in my white rice., and its good for you. ❤❤❤❤

    My Haitian husband loved this, I had never tried this before and didn't know what to expect. Very tasty and much appreciated. I saw other recipes online that put carrots and other random things in there (I know everyone cooks things differently) but my husband thought this one was perfect.

    Best to use chuck roast (as she is using) because grocery store "stew meat" is a combination of various cuts of beef. Chuck roast is idea for slow braising.

    I wasn't a fan of okra as a kid. I would just eat the meat, shrimp, crab and watercress or smash itinthe rice if my mom made me eat it. bol! but now I love it

    Hi .. When you added the 2 cups of water to steam it.. The water was brown..was that from the meat

    I use to hate okra so much. I would vomit just by the taste. NOW I love it anyhow I make it. Wow. I would even steam 6 in a touch of salt water and eat as a vegetable. Mmmmm. Se coupe dwet.
