    I have been trying to make a “shiny mercury droplet” for well over a year! I wanted the droplets to look rounded like a bead and not ooze outward at the base where it touches the paper! And I wanted shiny/reflective. I’ve tried tons of things…. I think what you just demonstrated is exactly what I want! Can’t wait to try it! Thank you!!!

I fell and broke my left arm in several places and I have been quite down & blue. I am right-handed, but very clumsy just now. I thoroughly enjoyed your spirit and joyful nature. Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! Love & Bless xo

    Just beautiful, Maria! I am wondering how you would finish it for display. Would you frame it without glass, maybe spray the painted part or finish it with wax medium before adding the glue dots? Or would you frame it behind glass?

    • @karindw6384
      @karindw6384 Před 2 lety +1

      I was wondering that, too. I know you are supposed to seal gold leaf so it doesn't tarnish but wonder if adding a spray varnish to the entire piece would alter the leaf? Then you could display it in different ways. I might try adhering my painting to a cradle board and waxing before adding the pebbles. Lots of possibilities!
