I have been trying to make a “shiny mercury droplet” for well over a year! I wanted the droplets to look rounded like a bead and not ooze outward at the base where it touches the paper! And I wanted shiny/reflective. I’ve tried tons of things…. I think what you just demonstrated is exactly what I want! Can’t wait to try it! Thank you!!!
yay! Thank ou for your comment! I am sure you will make a perfect pebble! I am sending you vibes of success of rounded perfect pebble ::) Please share your results here: facebook.com/groups/abyssimo
I am a new sub to your wonderful channel and I am thrilled to have found you! (Sometimes the algorithm gets it right, doesn't it?) I am a mixed media artist and I have been stuck in a rut lately. I fell and broke my left arm in several places and I have been quite down & blue. I am right-handed, but very clumsy just now. I thoroughly enjoyed your spirit and joyful nature. Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! Love & Bless xo
So beautiful! ❤️ You are the queen of texture! I’ve used a glue gun to create textures in my paintings before, but not in this way. It’s fun to learn new techniques! I love your classes and appreciate this tutorial 🥰 thank you! 🙏
Thank you Maria!!! As usual, you always inspire me so much... I can't wait to try your new technique of 3 dimensional pebbles, which when I first saw them, I thought they were made from glass... hahaha.
Thank you for this tutorial. I was meditating a few days ago and saw a vision of something like this. I am now inspired to recreate my vision as a piece of art now. THANK YOU!
Fantastic, I love your colourful and imaginative art. I paint on glass and love your pebbles so am going to experiment to see if I can do them direct on glass. Thank you for sharing . I loved your dragonfly course too.♥️♥️
Thank you, and please don't forget to give me credit! I can't wait to see what you will create, please post your results here: facebook.com/groups/abyssimo
Of course i will hive them your info and credit. They will see your actual video! I believe in supporting other artists and honoring their creative ideas. ✨
HI Maria, fantastic video, so clearly presented. Wondering about using the pebbles that were made on the cardboard and then adhering them onto the artwork with an acrylic medium or glue? This way you have control over the placement.
Just beautiful, Maria! I am wondering how you would finish it for display. Would you frame it without glass, maybe spray the painted part or finish it with wax medium before adding the glue dots? Or would you frame it behind glass?
I was wondering that, too. I know you are supposed to seal gold leaf so it doesn't tarnish but wonder if adding a spray varnish to the entire piece would alter the leaf? Then you could display it in different ways. I might try adhering my painting to a cradle board and waxing before adding the pebbles. Lots of possibilities!
Thank you! I can't wait to see what you will create, please post your results here: facebook.com/groups/abyssimo Yes, framing it behind the glass would be perfect.
Wow this is such a beautiful creation!! ❤️Pleasing to watch and appreciate your work on it,to give us the very best, and your efforts have paid off❤. It is a great video..thank you very much!!!!!! As soon as possibile I ll tra it! Will it be possibile to paint the bubbles with acrylics instead of using the gold leaf? Thank you very much!!!
Maria! Ciao from Milano! 😊I am making part of your FB group too but it’s better to ask here: WHAT PAPER do u use? I never worked with watercolor paper before. Does it have to be 100% COTTON? Or it can be mix? I like the wet on wet the way the colors spread and mix 😍😍.
Held my breath as you tore the masking tape at the end. I always enjoy your tutorials.
WoooJooo Thank you for kind words. More tutorials to come!
Great work. If you pull your tape off at an angle it won’t tear your paper.
My new treasure of inspiration !!!!!!
Thank you ever so much !!!

HI Maria, fantastic video, so clearly presented. Wondering about using the pebbles that were made on the cardboard and then adhering them onto the artwork with an acrylic medium or glue? This way you have control over the placement.
Thank you for watching. I think it's difficult to remove pebbles from cardboard. It's better to create them directly on your project.
@@Abyssimo I may try it on wax or freezer paper and see if it releases easily. It is a wonderful technique.
