Beautiful! I’m familiar with kintsugi after studying Asian art for years. During the pandemic I taught myself watercolor painting, which I love, and I add gold paint here and there but this method is so awesome with its 3D effect. I can’t wait to try it. Thank you for this video.
I forgot to thank you for your video here, your glasses and OMGoddess, all the discounts you give us all throughout the year. I hope your generosity comes back to you tenfold. Thank you!
I havre been tying the kintsugi effect to my abstract watercolors & memory loss but never thought of doing a face or the gold leaf! I've been using metallic gold watercolors. Ohhhh...fun ahead...❤
I absolutely adore you. I love your sense of humor, probably because itit's a lot like mine. Your English is just wonderful. I've not attempted to take on another language although I'd love to be able to speak Italian, French and Spanish. I'll hear nothing more on the subject, or I'll be too frightened to take Italian on ever because I wouldn't be as good as you are with English, the English you think you're terrible at. 😉😊😇 I understand everything you say. Yes haw!
Italian should be easy for you if you have French and Spanish. I adore French and Spanish and I constantly in the learning process. Even my GPS in car is in Spanish :)
I really enjoyed this tutorial. Such a beautiful effect I hope you will do some more. I love realism but it takes so long and so much concentration. As a break from this I like to doodle and Im becoming more interested in abstract and want to thank you for such wonderful inspiration.
I can see that you are a lifelong learner. I'm impressed. Thankfully you've taken the initiative to teach.
Peace and love, Diana . . .

Love this! going to try it out after I do the dragonfly!

Maria, which do you prefer? Using the Pebeo gold straight from the tube or using the gold leaf?
Goood question Vonalda. I'd say gold leaf. :) But both work well.
