    These are so unique and lovely! I never saw so many different kinds of material used on one piece of jewelry but it turned out great! I'm so happy that artists like yourself are able and willing to explore options so that some of us, who can't afford to make a mistake don't have to guess or go without as colored clay has become so expensive! Thank you for ev- erything!💙💜🌟😊👍

    Out of curiosity what part of England are you from? My daughter was born at RAF Lakenheith ( not sure of the spelling anymore, been over 40 yrs.) 1980-82 there for husband, lody my daughter will be 42 in December. 😳 yikes Tfs hugs

      Ahh, Lakenheath in Suffolk! I was born in Cambridgeshire, in a RAF hospital, where my dad was stationed…not sure which one. Grew up in Nottingham, and moved to USA 10 years ago. 💕

      @@clayboutique haha we lived off base in Cambridgeshire, or someplace with a name close to that, lol and a lady I use to care for was from Nottingham, crazy small world, I still have a couple of friends there, not sure where they live now. 🤣🤣 may have to ask them some day. Yes it’s definitely a change from the USA to England that for sure. But I was use to the dry air of calif (at the time) to the rain in the UK it’s a beautiful country but that rain was getting to me. lol got back state side how I was able to fly is beyond me (extenuating situation I guess) but it was Jan and I was what they said was 7 months pregnant with my son haha he came the next month in 1982. So that was my 2 yr stent in the UK. Well it was more like a yr and a half. lol

      It amuses me how Americans think it rains a lot in England, but I can confirm that the rain in Ohio, is actually more frequent and heavier. I guess you’re comparing it to California, but I have observed that Americans, in general, have this notion that England is in a constant state of precipitation 😂

    • @karenthomas2302
      @karenthomas2302 Před 2 lety

      @@clayboutique I was raised in California and lived for 31 yrs in Arizona, lol definitely a desert, California gets some rains but when I hit England it was definitely a cultural shock of rain. lol then I spent 2 summers in Oklahoma, ya England don’t get much rain. It would drizzle off and on, in the winter and a tad bit of snow where we where, but then went to Oklahoma ya it is a light dusting of rain in England. lol I always laughed about the heat waves in England lol I think the hottest I seen it there was 80*f and it was off and on for 2 weeks, I’m use to 100*f in California then moved to Arizona and summers are 125-130*f where I lived. But I have lived in a few different states. My heart is in Arizona, but unfortunately circumstances brought me back here. I don’t miss the heat of Arizona that’s for sure and the summer of 130*f and rain I definitely don’t miss. 🤣🤣 but no it don’t rain that much there, (England) but there is more overcast then here, but no matter where you go you find good and bad, Ohio, I have a sister a few state over in Iowa ya she’s ready to leave there and move back to California, lol so ya I can understand why ppl think it storms all the time in England only because of the old movies of fog and stormy nights based in London. Misconception for sure, I just go by living there for almost 2 yrs it’s nothing like calif (or Arizona) lol and if Ohio is anything like Oklahoma ya crap ton of rain. lol 😂

    • @clayboutique
      @clayboutique  Před 2 lety +1

      Oh, my…if it hits 80f in England, it’s definitely considered a heatwave, and everyone moans about it 😂 I like the summers in Ohio. I like it hot, but not past 90f lol.
      Yeah, England is definitely a damper climate. The ‘cold gets in ya bones’, as they say.
