Such an awesome player and man. He is a true role model to what future players should want to be unlike Bron. 21 seasons with the same team. No other player has spent longer with one team. It's hard to say goodbye Dirk for all Dallas (and NBA) fans. But the franchise is in good hands with Doncic, Porzingis and other guys that made a big step up this season (Brunson, Powell, Kleber...).

How do you think players like Tim Duncan and other greats announced their retirements? It has always been normal to announce it at the end of the season and you really think that dirk with such class would want one. This dude is heavily overrated. He can shoot pretty good but the rest of his game was pretty much trash. The MVP he got wasn't really deserved and he only had one championship, which he wouldn't have got if it weren't for the deepest team in NBA history. Anybody could win with that team. Plus, the NBA and it's fans were starving for a white player it could rally behind and he was the best available.
