How do you go about picking material, from a giant mound like that, to process ? Are there certain types of rocks you choose? Is there a process to it, or is any spot as good as the next ? That was a huge mound ! I appreciate your taking all of us along !!
On this mound I took a risk and got some from the side. I think it was a mistake. The big mistake was that I got too much sand and gravel which caused me to get practically nothing. But the tiny piece of gold was of good quality. Next time I will get more solid rocks and not care about the wear on the chains on the rock crusher. If I’m correct in doing that I should get more gold, but I’m not sure how much I will get. My friend Andre owns the Chollar Mine in Virginia City. He invited me to get some ore from the tailings there. I will find the best stuff there and see what we’ll get.
Hello, this tailings pile was a waste of time. There really wasn’t much gold in it. I won’t be going back there. Thank you for taking time to view this episode, I appreciate it and your comment. Have fun getting your gold 🤗

@@ErnieDionne I'll look forward to it!!
Love the blue sky
It was really beautiful
Love the videos! What is the purpose of the re-bar during the melt?
The lead rebar helps the Litharge (lead oxide) do its job in collecting the metals into the lead prill. I apologize for the late reply.
@ErnieDionne No worries at all! I see you have been busy. That is very interesting, thank you. 😊
@@BK-zy6lw You’re welcome my friend
