Thank you for this, I love in Louisiana where it is 98 and 70 percent humidity. I love the book! I wish I could actually attend a chi running class one day in person! I was a struggle runner fprever. I'm still a run\walker but not struggling on the run parts as bad. I thought I had asthma for a long time turns out I have copd. I'm not a smoker! I also only have one working nostril. Any breathing tips specifically to running in heat and humidity?

Running in 98 degrees and 70 percent humidity is dangerous. Running in Phoenix at 120 degrees and 5% humidity is safe (as long as you are drinking enough water) because your body can cool you by evaporation. I have done this many times in Phoenix. However in 70% humidity your body can no longer cool you by evaporation. You could die. Never run in high humidity whenever the temperature goes over 93 which is skin temperature. I guess you could wear an ice vest until it melts.
