This stuff with Schneider involving kids and porn is probably to the surprise of no one. He was putting porn reenactments in his shows, whether it was a 16 year old Ariana Grande in a wet Supersoaker bikini contest, a "money shot" reenactment involving Britney Spears' younger sister, or just generally putting kids in situations that mimicked porn fetishes. So it's no surprise if he was comfortable putting that trash on television and grooming not just his young actors but an entire generation of kids, who knows what he was up to when the cameras weren't rolling. I grew up in the 80s and 90s and there was absolutely none of that - at least on TV. Sure, it was a different time, and I grew up in Canada, but we never saw teenagers on the beach in sexual situations, even in the 90s. I go back sometimes to some of the stuff I watched that was considered "risqué," and almost all of the actors were adults and by Nickelodeon standards, incredibly tame. Everything seemed pretty age appropriate. And I grew up with the Wonder Years, a show that had 13 year old boys buying a sex book in the first episode and discovering that girls were more that just gross magnets. But the way it was handled was age appropriate and not exploitative. You didn't see reenactments of porn. And that was the era of Traci Lords, a porn star we would all come to realize was underage during almost her entire run as an adult actress. Now, if they can get a 13 year old girl in a skimpy bikini or shaking her ass, that's what they're doing. Exploitation of minors really took off in the music and entertainment industry in the late 90s. Ask Britney Spears...oh, and Puff Daddy.

They are able to acknowledge their feelings, process what’s going on/the best outcome, and act appropriately. We basically need to teach children that it’s important to learn your emotions just as much as their academics.

Amanda Bynes hasn’t even really come forward and told her true story either with things that happened with her and Dan other than people saying they’ve seen her giving him massages on set. We don’t know if they were intimate. But we do know that he used manipulation with Amanda and even tried to get her emancipated from her parents. She was the golden child of Nickelodeon and the apple of Dan’s eye. She was given her own show.
Amanda lived with him a lot of the time so we don’t know what else “specifically” was taking place between the two of them from Amanda herself other than what people say they witnessed. All we know was that it was enough for her to eventually quit acting.

Here's the facts a 19 year old can join the military and die fighting for this country. They can choose careers, with little to no work experience and go into debt pursuing that career in college.
They can drive a vehicle on the roads and highways at high speeds with no other adult supervision. They can have apartments or homes they can live in independently without a need for other adult supervision. They can work whatever job they'd like to for as many hours as they'd like to. They can have children with other adults, and no laws be violated. So if a 19 year old can do all these things because legally they are adults, why now are we looking at this 19 year old as a minor ??? She still was an adult, I'm not saying it wasn't shady and off on the man's part, but here's the thing she still was an fully legal adult at the time.
