I have a pekingese shih tzu bichon mix and he came into my life when he was born in 2009. I was an emotional wreck at the time starting in 1997 when I lost my mother to a car accident. I was 13 in 1997 and in 2009 I was hit by a brain tumor a month after losing my grandfather. In between those years I was living recklessly and the tumor led me down the path to self destruction. Later that same year my little one was born and saved my life. To me that’s when real life began when I first held him in the palm of my hand when he was born because he gave me purpose in my life again. The tumor was removed in 2013 and though it left me with complications such as short term memory loss, double vision and prone to seizures, my little one has kept me healthy all these years. I’m blessed to have him in my life and I’ll be with him when his time comes.
Sad how only 5 artists get all the credit for being great in the 1990's! This guy should have been as big as Brooks, Jackson, and Strait! RIP Jeff Carson.

After retiring from the music business in 2009, Carson became a full time police officer in Franklin, Tennessee. In 2019, Carson returned to his music career until his death on March 26, 2022 at the age of 58, but his legacy lives on.🙂

I just found out that Jeff passed away a few weeks back from a heart attack. What a loss to the Country Community, and the Law Enforcement Community. From Country Superstar in the 90’s to a Decorated Officer the past 15+ years. I almost feel like I lost a friend, as I have played Jeff’s albums religiously since I was a teenager blasting them in the 90’s in my truck. What a heartbreaking time for his family… Prayers for them to have peace & comfort through this. RIP Jeff, Your Legacy will live on, and your music will never be forgotten Sir!!!
