I miss Trick Pony!
She gave me a kiss (a friendly peck) in a bar in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea. They performed on the base in Yongsan in 2005 and then came out on the town afterward to hang with some of us. Hung out, danced, sang some karaoke with us and for us. A great time by a down to earth band.

Tbf both versions of the song were massive crossover hits that had haters of both genres boppin and stylistically and lyrically it's very in line with the classic country aesthetic.
That being said music is music so enjoy it or don't but don't try to gatekeep it from others or use it as an excuse to be hateful or rude (such as putting down music or artists that you don't like by passive aggressively implying that it's not legitimate music by praising other music as "now this is real music".

I know what you are saying Nikster Goldie. But the way he let her down was by dying, in the song it says "It ain't wise to need someone as much as I depended on you" they were going to get divorced and then decided to try and make it work and then he goes and leaves her tragically. You invest your all in a relationship, she depended to much on him and her heart got broke, no fault of his but that is life.
It was clearly they set up at the liquor store by the soon-to-be ex-wife so she could collect the insurance money. Well played lady
