Agreed I reached out to them on the 212 and they got weird. My bet is it's another mongrel like this one. The 420 is just a normal Rato clone by the looks so some one just needs to check the Cam and Crank are gx390.

Hi…I’ve been eye balling the 420cc model for a kart build myself. After what you’ve found, would you think the 420cc version is another clone copy? I ask because I would like to modify it with aftermarket clone parts

I can respect your point of view. But in my case I end up with more engines then projects often. So I would rather be the one to take the hit so others do not have to. I have a 9 engine back log waiting for projects right now.
