Wire Bending Tool You Can Make

We've needed a good tool to bend fine steel wire for a while now. Using the lineman's pliers for bending steel wire is time consuming and each bend has to be carefully examined and often adjusted. So what if I told you that you could build a better tool for this task? Would that be something you might be interested in?

I love your channel. I don't have the capability to do what you do but a random thought on this one is maybe use a slightly tapering slot to bed the wire firmly regardless of its diameter?

I solved that problem by drilling 2 new holes and moving the small rod closer to the main rod! it bends super awesome now! remember, you only need a drill, aluminum barstock and brass rod - the rods could really be any size and they could also be aluminum! all these supplies are cheap at the hardware store - you can do this!
