      I clicked onto the comments to say the exact same thing, lol. That is the clearest HD security camera I've seen, and it's an outside camera that deals with elements like dust. Super high quality or it was brand new and installed mins before lol

    That ship is going fast - half the ship's length in 10 seconds. Ship is "Swan Biscay", 130 metres; so I think 14 mph.

      I know that's what drove me crazy in the video the whole entire time I was screaming at my phone get out of there get out of there and they just keep sitting there I'm like are you insane?! If I see a boat coming towards me that's easily a hundred times bigger than the boat I'm on I'm getting out of there immediately. It's like people in our society always assume that the other person is competent....NO! Always assume the other person is incompetent even if it is a massive ship.

      @@web5271 ok just looked it up. It's still the same way its always been. Red right returning in the US but opposite in most of the rest of the world. We used to say RED RIGHT RETURNING home. RED RIGHT REAVING where they drive on the wrong side of the roads.

    mechanical problems....or electronics problem....no depth finder??? And why don't these Captains just drop anchors when experience a problem controlling these huge ships....???

    • @John-tx1wk
      @John-tx1wk Před 5 lety +3

      They did drop anchor, both of them. You can see the starboard anchor go at the 38 second mark and you can see the port is down when the stern swings to port.

      Sometimes the engine just stop, that's a main issue, sometimes can be a blackout, accidentally somebody turned off the wheel and the rudder instead to turn off the winches, both controls can be find at the wheel room deep inside the engine room.
