The icicng - I laid a 2x4 on the rook and then used cable to from the icing to the 2x4 to hold. the peppermint- I hung the peppermint on a cable attached to the icing. I hope that makes sense...

How did you hold the styrofoam on the wall while you were developing your pattern?

how did you attach the foam to the house? Not the candy but the long icing pieces?

I place an 8' 2x4 about 1' back and then used wire to tie the styrofoam pieces to the 2x4. They are very light so it's holds it just fine
