- Let's create an easy fake bake donut, giant size of course!
SUPPLIES
~10"×1" Styrofoam circle
~Foam sheets
~Acrylic paint
~Clay (Glittz and Glue Foam Clay coming May 2022, launching date will be announced soon) in the meantime you can use model magic clay
~Glitter
~yarn
What a lovely video. I'm just going to suggest that you need a little heat to that metal cookie cutter. Run it under hot water (or even boiling), dip it in and hold it in the water until its hot. Use it right away, it won't stay hot for long. (You could even use tongs.) It will make it so much easier. Sometimes, I use hair dye gloves that I got from my local Sally's Beauty Supply. I've found you can still feel the heat of the metal, to guage it, but at a more tolerant level. Silicone gloves would probably work, too, but I hate the feel of them on my hand. And, you could sand the edges of the craft foam sheet to bevel the edges to give it a more rounded, softer look, like an actual donut. I use a sanding/buffing sponge, or whatever they are called. And you could braid your chenille to give it even more of a high-end feel, or use an extra piece or 2.
Love fake bakes... love ❤️ the big designs. These aren't on CZcams, so you're blazing the trail. Big Gingerbreads Boys & Girls. Lollypops . These are great for centerpieces and wreaths! Great instructions, and I love the list of supplies. I subscribed! Fabulous!
If I tried to cut that 2nd piece of foam without measuring it, NO MATTER WHAT, I would cut it too small. It happens everytime I don't measure. Meanwhile you eyeball it and it's length is nearly perfect😂. That's true experience and talent right there.

How would you have done icing drips to cover the inner cut edge of the donut hole? Could the icing have been foam clay super glued to the foam board? I'm new to crafting and just found your channel, after I watched one video, I'm hooked this is the third I've watched in a row!
