It's so nice to see you start you garden! Look at all those tomatoes, my favorite thing to grow and eat from the garden. And you have a new raised bed! Wow, a coconut mat! Wonderful raised bed garden. Vegetable gardens can save a lot of money. We grow organically. Looked like Amy was trying to get something. My wife shows her dogs how to pick berries from the plant. She also tosses them less than perfect tomatoes, string beans, peas and other fruits and vegetables. As you can imagine there can be dog problems in the garden if not kept in check. PS Loved the oven roasted spaghetti sauce. Thanks

Die Zuckertraube ist eine leckere Naschtomate. Was ich noch empfehlen kann zum so Essen ist die Cocktailtomate "Black Cherry" und die Fleischtomate "Tschernij Prince". Auch die Ananastomate ist eine besondere Fleischtomate, wird aber halt sehr groß. VG

Supertoller Garten und Gewächshaus und alles schon so weit .. wird sicher eine tolle Ernte, vor allem Tomaten . Bei mir (OÖ) haben die Vorkulturen aufgrund der Kälte schon das Wachstum eingestellt 😟 und da wo sie später hin sollen (auf 830 m) werden sie den Schock ihres Lebens bekommen 🤨. Ich lese immer, dass man auch die Tomaten viiiieel tiefer setzen kann/soll, auch wegen der zusätzlichen Verwurzelung!! Fisolen magst du gar nicht? sind auch super unkompliziert (gut als Salat und blanchiert zum Einfrieren) und könnte man überall noch dazwischen setzen. Um die Kürbispflanze würde ich gleich einen Schneckenschutz machen, sonst ist die am nächsten Tag weg ... habe auch Weinbergschnecken und die lieben ja alles Vorgezogene ... hoffe du vernichtest sie nicht . können auch mal Notnahrung sein 😉
Hello, bei uns wars auch kalt, aber nicht so kalt wie bei euch 😅 paprika habe ich am 15.1 gesäht. Die Tomaten ca Mitte Ende Februar, deswegen sind sie schon so groß ❤ habe unglaublich viele Kerzen verwendet um die Tomaten 3 Wochen im Glashaus vor dem Kältetod zu retten. War ein Wahnsinn weil die Temperaturen oft unter 5 C sind 😅. Aber hat dann doch alles noch geklappt. Heute wieder Kerzen angezündet damit mir die Paprika nicht einen Schock bekommen. 😂
Snails can't cross copper you can get copper tape and put it around the pots etc
Thank you Lilly for the informative video's. I have always busted up the root ball and spread the roots out when going from pot to bed. Looking at your results I now feel this is unnecessary and possibly destructive to the plant. Also appreciate you naming varieties that work for you, though I am in So California inland hills, high desert basically.
You can eat the snails if you flush them with grated carrot for a few days. Garlic butter… good survival protein

@@SurvivalLilly Aber nicht, wenn man sie selber züchtet 😉.. hat mein Vater gemacht in den 70ern zum Graus meiner Mutter 😆.. ist nicht besonders schwer, aber man muss die auch mögen .. schmecken angeblich "nur" wie Rindfleisch und brauchen viiiieel Knoblauch .. naja, damit schmeckt dann eh alles gut 😅

Coconut mat. 1st year I am using it cause straw is hard to get
@@SurvivalLilly Was it hard to cut through? I understand there is a tiny bit of latex used as the binding agent (at least in all the ones I've looked at on-line). A few say it is really hard to cut and one person recommended electric scissors to do so.
