Bomb Threat on Breeze Airways A220 Leads to Arrests. REAL ATC

December 6th, 2023.
A Breeze Airways Airbus A220-300 registration N220BZ, performing flight MXY717 from Orlando International Airport (KMCO) to Providence Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (KPVD) was at 37000 feet, about 70 miles north of Jacksonville, when the crew reported a disturbance on board, requested to divert to Jacksonville and requested the law enforcement to meet them on the ground. During the descent the flight crew reported that there were two passengers that caused a disturbance. One of them said that another had a bomb on her.

In the UK that would've resulted in two RAF Eurofighters being scrambled and escorting the aircraft into the UK designated diversion airport at London Stansted. And the punishment would certainly be well beyond a no-fly list.
