    A leading expert of 30 years in alzheimers research, Dr. Dale Bredesen, has recenty discovered a majority of cases to be caused by environmental toxins, mainly derived from mold in water damaged buildings. It's called type 3 inhalational alzheimers. CFS patients show similar brain changes to those with dementia (shrunken hippocampus, enlarged ventrices, grey/white matter imbalances). CFS is often (IMO almost always) caused by mold exposure. If you pay attention to cfs recovery interviews, most mention moving just before the illness started, or sometime before they started recovering.

    This video was SO helpful, confirming, inspiring and heart- renching. I have done a lot of the same things to treat my illness (not all) and I’m getting better. I have been diagnosed with ME/CFS, an enterovirus (Coxsackie B 2 and 5), hypothyroid, hypogammaglibulemua, IBS, multiple frequent bronchial infections as a child and many, many sinus infections as an adult so everything you said resonated with me!!! I so appreciate your transparency in sharing your story which included such painful experiences including enduring mental health struggles. You are a blessing. 🙏🏻

      @fromchronictocuredwellness Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Lee! Thank you for your comment 🙏🏻 I continued the redox all throughout as it supported the detox process and my immune system with all the changes I was making. Long term cell damage (hashimotos for 20 years). I still take a small therapeutic dose of the liquid (as does my daughter) and use the topical gel every day on my skin as a preventative (my choice only). Once you’re at a consistently well state you would be ok to stop it if you wish and maintain a clean low tox lifestyle instead for overall balanced wellness 🙏🏻 Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions via my website www.fromchronictocured.com . Don’t buy it off Amazon as it is not from an authorized trained distributor and wouldn’t be covered by the 30 day 100% money back guarantee. I can point you in the right direction ☺️🌻

    Terese - did you ever think of testing for borrelia (lyme)? My doctor used to be a medec for the Canadian military and came to understand that many of his PTSD patients from the Iraq war had lyme disease and other chronic infections. These infections can also be transmitted as STDs. I am into my third year of recovery from tested positive with epstein bar, borrelia, and many other infections. The borrelia bacteria can undermine the immune system which will allow latent viruses to activate. Doctors typically do not look for borrelia as it is hard to test for once the bacteria leaves the blood stream - by this time the nervous system is attacked and neurological symptoms emerge.

      Apologies Caroline I have only just found your comment. Matthew was tested for everything and parasites were also found. But he had clear degeneration of the brain that was caused by damage from the car bomb explosion he was involved in. Thank you for your comment though. Yes viruses and bacteria can feed off each other. Mine was EBV that was fed by my chronic stress. I wish you all the best for your recovery 🥰

    BEWARE ALTERNATIVE MEDECINE !
    Thank you very much Terese, & of course Raelan, for this conversation. My heart goes out to Terese for all she has gone through. I am filled with admiration for her courage & her compassion towards others & am delighted to hear that she has managed to get better. As a fellow sufferer on the road to recovery & on hearing your praise concerning the "energetic medicine man" that you consulted, I just wished to add a comment. Through desperation, I also tried alternative medicine (acupuncture, sophrology, hypnosis, energy man etc…) & I think it’s important to be VERY careful in this domain. Although I only went to see qualified Drs & councillors (or people that were highly recommended), most of these people's efforts were either ineffective, lasting an hour or so, or pernicious. Indeed, on the 2nd visit to my hypnotherapist I had a very dark session that was quite scary & months later discovered that my daughter actually had a fit under hypnosis with this very same person (she has never had one before & we hadn't spoken to each other of our experiences beforehand). I think it's important to be aware that alternative medicine can be a portal to spiritually negative influences even if the therapist is well-intentioned. Kind regards from France x

      Thank you for your comment. Those are unfortunate experiences indeed. I have had negative experiences with both western medicine and alternative medicine. I recommend researching anything and anyone new with an open mind and hearing others experiences of that health expert, as I did (western medicine or alternative medicine). Appreciate you bringing this up 🙏🏻

    My root cause is toxic load (I believe). It happened at the same time as I was poisoned at work by months and months of daily heavy perfume and chemical exposure. However I already had Crohn's so that may be a contributor. I developed severe MCS and still have it to this day but in a much milder level afters years of detox. I don't know anyone whose cause is not infection I'd be very curious to find recovery stories or even just others to speak to that didn't get ME/CFS from infection.

      Hi Freya. I know this post is old, but I'm new here. :)
      It must be very difficult living with Chron's. :(
      How are you going with your health now?
      I don't believe my Chronic Fatigue started with an infection, although after the fatigue started I eventually got some blood work to test for EBV, and it showed as a past infection. (It is said that most people get EBV at some point.)
      I can only think of a couple of times, 7 - 12 years before any fatigue started, that I had some recurrent flu symptoms that could have been when I contracted EBV.
      At the time my fatigue started I didn't have any flu symptoms, swollen glands or anything like that.
      I had a depletion of good bacteria in my gut, food allergies, heavy metal toxicity, mold toxicity (which I am currently detoxing from), some thyroid dysfunction and a depletion of some hormones like cortisol.
      I've been chronically fatigued for nearly 5 years now.
      (I haven't tried to get a CFS diagnosis but I know I fit the criteria. In NZ there's no help, that I know of, for anyone who has a CFS diagnosis, so I personally can't see the benefit of getting a diagnosis for myself at this time.)
      I'm still trying to correct the root causes of the fatigue. It's been a real struggle, but this channel brings so much hope, and I know there are always more things to try. All the best. 💛

      Hi there! I swapped from Levothyroxine to a natural dedicated thyroid hormone (NDT) medication through my integrative GP. Since I’ve done that in the last three months my antibodies have dropped significantly so my body is agreeing with that change ☺️ I found the levothyroxine just had a steroid effect and it wasn’t actually helping my body to heal. My aim is to eventually not need additional thyroid hormone support but it could take a while, I’ve had 20 years of taking thyroxine for my body to adjust to.

      I’ve been taking Iodine(a lot), Selenium and eating 5 Brazil nuts (Selenium) everyday for the past 3 months to support my thyroid. It seems to be helping. I’ve been on L- Thyroxine for 10 years; maybe I should explore taking the NDT. Can you comment on how you found your Integrative practioner? And would this be the same/similar to a Functional Medicine practioner? Could you comment on the cost of seeing an Integrative Practioner.

    • @fromchronictocuredwellness
      @fromchronictocuredwellness Před 3 lety +2

      @@sandiscott5685 yes iodine and selenium are excellent supplements if you are deficient and also gluten free (most regular breads have iodine in them), to support your thyroid! I have a colloidal liquid iodine that I drop on my skin ☺️
      For me the more natural I went and natural alternatives I found, better my body functioned and still does, like the NDT. A GP can prescribe this too. Integrative is the same as functional medicine yes. In Australia my appointments cost $90AU and I get some refunded through Medicare. It would depend on the alternative medicine doctor though as to the costs. Ask your GP first about NDT in case they’re happy to support you to try it. My only synthetic medication I still take is my anti depressant called Sertraline. It has really helped me with minimal side effects and I’ll keep taking it even while I’m well and balanced, as it would be contributing to that balance 🌻
