Live recording in on go, captured in a 70minutes-one-shot-video in the soundstudio under Clemens Orth's Salon de Jazz in Cologne.
Originally this was streamed live. I stabilized the video in post to get more "flow". There was no gimbal used, just a bare Sony A7SIII, connected via glass fiber HDMI-cable to an Atem mixer..

Tobias is a legend. I love his playing. I also love how he just sets his pedals on the ground, no switcher or board, super cool.

Oh my, I thought this might be good when I saw Tobias' name but it's not just good, it's stunning. Thought it was a bit slow to start but after 15 minutes I was blown away, damn those boys can play! Still only part way through, had to have a lie down 😯

Mesmerizing! Best way to describe these guys. Fantastic jam. Everyone of them are top notch. In the year 2022 its hard to do something new and unique but damn you guys nailed it. Never heard anyone like this and to me thats the highest compliment.

Great Hammond player-- Künstler! The energie in teamwork between the other bandmembers is not very well. They don"t manage to sound collective in dynamics and timing, everything is so so... playing mostly as islands... there seams to be much tension.. the performance is some what cold, lacks joy, emotion, is overall technical and rational... not my cup of tea. I expected Tobias to be more of an authority who leads the band in improvising parts. He does not in my opinion, lacks tone and expression. He has mostly a dull tone without dynamics. Already said --> much rational playing, not so from the hearth, much tension, much look away from each other....
I feel entirely differently. It seems to me that each of the musicians is extremely responsive to the others. They're listening intently to what's going on around them and participating in an attuned way. ... I've been playing guitar for over forty years and listening to jazz (albeit primarily of earlier periods) almost that long, and I was recently blown away by Tobias' playing and musical vision.
