Hello there, UPS man.
There's always one subtle thing I hear most people mistake when they do Bane impressions, and that is forgetting his nasal passage being blocked. You can really hear it best in the scene where Bane and Dagget talk and he makes Stryver leave the room. "Do you feel in charge?" and "This gives you power over me?" Such raw lines. Gotta be the best villain ever. Tom Hardy absolutely killed it as Bane.

Part of Banes voice goes all the way back to Elmer because one thing they share is that they both use vocal fry but it’s not a monotone vocal fry but one that slides up in pitch. The thing about vocal fry is the best way to find it is to drop your pitch all the way down but vocal fry doesn’t require a static monotone pitch. It’s rough to control vocal fry at higher pitches. You need a good combination of moderate compression and low air pressure that way the vocal cords can connect a bit so it’s not a whisper or breath but also so that there’s not too much air that you lose the crackle. If too much strength or effort is put in you lose the crackle or it’s not a vocal fry.

@@NewYorkVocalCoaching Yeah is one thing that Bane and Elmers voices share is that vocal fry plays a big role in both of their voices but it’s like a pitch fluctuating vocal fry. They don’t speak in a consistent or static pitch range.
There’s many other characters that share vocal fry but that is a description that works for the technique. Vocal Fry helps to warm up your voice by going up and down in pitch. Helps relaxing your voice after singing a bit too. It’s a cool technique to have.
@@AtomizedSound Yeah you’re right. It’s just that Ive watched many bugs bunny shows involving Elmer Fudd and I know that even though his pitch is primarily on the low side and is in vocal fry the pitch does fluctuate. Elmer certainly doesn’t speak in monotone. Only kick is the higher in pitch you go once you hit the head voice/falsetto area the greater the challenge it becomes to maintain the vocal fry because the vocal cords stretch out, thin out, and become lose. At least I think that’s what happens

Hi! I've been trying to learn voice impressions and am good at some, but for some reason I can't quite impersonate a character with a raspy voice and some other qualities. My voice also cracks while trying to do some impressions. Does this have something do with me still going through puberty? Or is it just because I am not physically capable of doing it?

How come voice breakdown videos has stop and been about a year since the last one?
What would you say the easiest impression would be I have been trying for a while but all I hear in recordings is my voice but a tiny bit different if it is even different at all

I would really appreciate if you help me on this..... please how do one sing with a confident tone on the head rejoin,I think my chest mix rejoin is strong but the head mix is kind of weak has it doesn't sound confident. Please help out

For Bane there’s probably not much to worry about with his pitch because his pitch has so much variety. Only thing not to do for Banes pitch is raise it super sky high. That’s probably the only thing for Banes pitch you gotta avoid doing

Please, I can't find this anywhere, I need to learn how to sound/speak like Junkrat from Overwatch(Character), for reference, the video titled 'Could It Finally Be...Junkrat??!!!' is helpful(no effects on his voice), and since voice line compilations tend to not be consistent. I mostly cannot figure out his bubbly/echo-y effect, or whatever it is that separates his voice from a rough Australian accent. Please. and thank you.

I am obsessed with the sound of Tom Petty’s voice. He has this distinctive style of singing that can go from aggressive to sweet and never loses his basic tone or sounds affected. Also his speaking voice, his Lucky character on King of the Hill is so funny and him doing off-the-cuff voices and routines in the studio on his latest documentary from the Wildflowers recording: Somewhere You Can Be Free just busts my gut. Hi, can you do a video that plays one after another separately in succession lots of people singing the same middle C or E note, or whichever note everyone can sing. It would be amazingly useful to hear the timbre differences between people, and even everyone's morning voice compared to their warmed up voice.
