I absolutely love this watch. I really hope they make a GMT version of it.
I hate how people are always complaining that Oris isn't using "in house movements". But when they do, those same people complain that it's overpriced 🙄

I wish they’d do more solid casebacks for their Sellitas though. The display caseback really reinforces how unfinished the movements are so it perversely makes it feel cheaper for me.

For all the criticisms this piece has had, and the glory of the Big Crown pointer date not withstanding, this watch is a classic in the making.

I’m a big Oris fan and this one is stunning. I don’t care about the haters, I just love it.

Really love that Oris is really stepping up its game lately, especially with their brand new 3-hand movement they just released! Yes they are going up in price but I think that's okay considering the fact that they already produced timepieces with a level of case finishing that can compete with the bigger boys. They only downside of most Oris watches was always the base Sellita. Nothing wrong with a decent Sellita but they don't even finish and regulate them which is a shame considering the great overall quality of Oris watches.

Otis uses screws on its links while a Patek uses pins. Just what is going on with Patek? This is a terrific looking watch.

It's a neat watch. My biggest criticism is it's hard to read the time on (well during the day). I can't help thinking that a splash of color on the hands would have made this really pop.

stunning watch - too big though. that's probably needed for a manual wind ten day reserve. so why not make it a six day reserve and drop the size of the watch??

I think this is a winner, Oris can't make the same BC or diver's over and over and survive in an evolving market. The movement is cool (10 days?!) and the design is polarizing. I agree they should have directed a new line off of this though and away from the BCPP family

Beautiful watch. Can you imagine this movement with Omega's style of finishing? It would look like a turbine inside and out. Love the watch as it is but I can dream, I guess.

I want this watch, but it is definitely down the list because of the price. Over $5k for an Oris is a lot. But the feature of this is impressive.

It’s an objectively impressive watch, especially that movement. Unfortunately it’s a functionally terrible pilot’s watch (which this supposedly is), because the one hallmark of a true pilot’s watch is excellent legibility; more specifically, large hour and/or minute markers. This has the hands of a pilot’s watch (fitting, as they’re the standard ProPilot hands), but unfortunately the dial (or lack there of) completely rules it out as a proper pilot’s watch.
I feel watch Oris should have introduced this watch as part of their Motorsport line (TT1/Williams), where legibility is slightly less of a factor, as it’s about time the awesome Calibre 11X was used in something other than the ProPilot.
Also, while you’re correct that most Oris watches come at a price point where pinned bracelets are the norm; for the price Oris asks for this piece, I would hope they use a screwed bracelet.
