I was NU’s first-ever UAAP Sportcaster and it was for Season 63. To see my dear alma mater reach great heights brings tears to my eyes! I now have a great career here in the US and still raising the flag of NU! GO BULLDOGS!❤
One thing's for sure, hindi lang NU ang nanalo kundi pati na rin ang buong Pilipinas. With this new set of young and really talented athletes, I can say that we'll finally offer a better fight in the international stage. Yes, there is a wide array of skillful players here in our country. But, it takes years to build the chemistry that is really vital in forming an efficient team. And I think this is what made NU win. Chemistry defeats individual talents. This is what the coaching staff of our national team should see. Better long-term program equates to a better connection inside the court. Kudos, NU! 💙💛

well madami namang mga naunang mahuhusay kaso ginagawang PBB o artista search or after sumikat sa volleyball kapag naofferan magartista dun sila nagfofocus kesa sa sports nila, napapabayaan kasi nagshowbiz. ending wala silang time para sa mga practice kasi kulang-kulang. sana this time magfocus sila sa sports nila kasi grabe nakakakilabot ang gagaling ng mga NU players. super deserve nila ang championship

Lahat ng first six ng NU pati Libero may awards except kay Ivy Lacsina which I believe na very deserving din ng award. Magaling din si Ivy kahit noong rookie year pa lang nya. Mas gagaling pa yan pati si Solomon na pwedeng pwede isabak sa National team in the future.

I’m an NU fan since season 74 and that was also the year I started playing volleyball (elementary days) I was inspired by dindin, kai and jen to play. I witnessed a lot of heartbreaks-from jen & kai, to dindin, to myla, and to jaja’s final year. Now, I can finally say that THE LONG WAIT IS OVER. I will always bark loud that I’m a fan of national university. congratulations girls, you deserved all the praises and rewards. WE LOVE YOU!!💙💛🐶

The most pivotal part of the game was when NU was down 17-20 in the 2nd set.
Then they made 7(!) consecutive points to get to match point at 24-20!
That stretch was almost unbelievable. I had to watch it several times to believe it.

For those who were saying na "boring" ang finals, you're not a fan of volleyball. This finals series is a glimpse of the future of the Philippine volleyball. Their performance is a spectacle and their skills are exciting. The NU lady bulldogs will definitely make us proud in the future and that will never be boring.

The player that I admire and amazed me more is Solomon...as you can see para siyang mahina o mabagal maglàro...pero pag nag spike or pumalo na siya...nkakatakot saluhin sa subrang lakas at bilis ng bola niya.....
see what grassroots volleyball training can do!! iba pa din talaga pa matagal na magkasama, halos memorize na yung galaw ng isa't isa, kaya super fluid ng galawan ng nu players! imagine rookies pa lang 4/7 ng starting line up pero grabe ang power at composure. kung nagstay din si faith at thea, ilang years siguro unstoppable itong nu.

Ever since avid fan na ko ng NU Bulldogs Mens and Womens Volleyball kasi sa lahat ng team na hinangaan ko ay silang walang kaangas angas at napaka down to earth nila kaya ganoon nalang ang pag hanga ko sa NU Bulldogs. My siblings made me love the sport. They have been a fan of UST because of Nang Aiza Maizo. But my heart had always been for the NU Lady Bulldogs. It was Season 73 when I started to root for them. They are underdogs but they always have super power hitters ever since: Bayron, Mangui, Nep, Dadang, Sante and others. Then, the time of Dindin, Pablo, Urdas and Jaja came.
I always rooted for them. And now that the team reached their greatest height, with their best and very complete line-up to date, I am more than happy to be part of this history, their history.

Naiyak ako. Kasi ang tagal kong naghintay na makakuha ng championship ang NU since nung time ng Santiago sisters. So proud of you Coach Karl. Ang dami ng humawak sa NU WVB team pero ikaw lang pala hinihintay sa UAAP.

di talaga nakapag adjust DLSU sa bilis ng plays ng NU....NU lang ang nakikita kong nag adapt na sa faster playsets sa international level....kitang kita kahit best blocking team pa ang DLSU pero delayed sila sa pag establish ng depensa sa net. NU pang National Team buong line up nila. yan dapat bini-build up ng sports committee natin. yung bonding nila, team chemistry matagal nang hinubog ng panahon....yang lineup nila kayang kaya pigain kahit current National Team natin. walang kwenta kukuha ka ng iba ibang players na magkakaiba ng training system simula high school to college tapos biglang pagsasamahin mo sa isang team na may kanya kanya ng mga attitude at differences sa styles. I am so happy for NU!! Congratulations! From digs, sets, receptions, blockings, at attacks, sama mo na facials nung Game 1, emz HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH talagang team work since first game nung elimination round. But I like to commend how DLSU started Set 1 and 3, grabe ang attacking pero hindi nila naiclose nang maayos. Nag-init din si Thea nung Set 3, but NU (especially Solomon) says "para sa amin talaga ito". CONGRATULATIONS, LADY BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!
Ang pangarap ko sa PH Volleyball is a grassroots program similar to what NU has now. Aminin na natin, we need young, tall, and fresh players. Hindi na uubra yung mga nasa pro (no offense) if they are against Asian teams na as early as 13 y/o is kasama na sa roster. Then athletes can choose to go professional/club team, stay with the PH team while finishing school, or pa-recruit sa UAAP/NCAA/School teams. Staying with the PH team to practice solely just for competing in international level.
IF the PH government will have the funding for this PH Volleyball team, hindi magdadalawang isip ang mga athletes natin na piliin ang pera over being in the national team. Sana kung mag pro man ang mga players ng NU after college, sila na lang din piliin maglaro sa international competitions, with the addition of some players. Pero please lang, wag na sila Valdez, etc. Give chance to the young guns.

A Massive Congratulations 🎉 to NU LB! What a Superb finale performance! I can see Jia in Lamina. I think she also idolizes Nootsara. She has some Nootsara-inspired sets. Belen as usual is the star gunner. Solomon is like Megawati, slow approach but with heavy hits. Nierva just wow, ubiquitous! Robles’ digs and receives were beneficial to this win. MBs were both on point as well. Everyone actually delivered. Happy for the new champions. 👏 Congratulations once again🎉
This NU batch is probably the best and most complete team in the UAAP women’s volleyball history, next would be the UST batch of Balse-Bernal-Tabaquero et al.

Nag pay-off yung super crucial substitution ni Coach Karl kina Cagande saka Erin Pangilinan. 2x block because of Cagande's good services and 1x crucial spike kay Pangilinan on the latter part. of Set 3. Grabe rin the luxury of having both Lamina and Cagande in your lineup. Cagande 3x UAAP Girls Best Setter, Lamina 2x UAAP Girls Best Setter.
