How to troubleshoot Booting problem of Windows 10 in VMWare Workstation
EFI VMware Virtual SCSI Hard Drive(0.0)... No Media
EFI VMware Virtual SATA CDROM Drive(1.0)... No Media
EFI Network...

For those with VMWare workstation Player, who do not have the option to select 'firmware' during creation of new virtual Windows 10
Close VMWare Workstation Player.
Goto the directory where the virtual machine is saved.
Open 'VMWare virtual machine configuration' file with notepad and look for: firmware = "efi"
Change the line, firmware = "efi" to firmware = "bios"
Save the file and reopen the virtual Windows 10 machine in VMWare Player again
It worked for me with VMWare workstation Player 14
