Kylie Minogue “ Can’t get you out of my head” deserves a place in this top 20 or at the least an honourable mention
AMÉN
Yesssss You are so right!!
Yesss I love that song and the video was super cool
I think it should replace with the Ed Sheehan one. It’s not his best song either, if there was going to be one of his songs as an honorable mention or on the list it should’ve been one of his other songs.
People tend to think Kylie is popular only in Europe, but even in Brazil this song was a huge hit back then, and still is to some degree. She's not the most known singer, but this song is unquestionably huge around the whole world.
Pop music is like Fashion. It changes continuously and spontaneously.... Yet still trendy and struck the heart's of music lovers.
Interesting symbolism
Yeah, but sadly its mainstream, in early 2010’s music were fresh and artists were too, nowadays they do good music also but something is missing
Even The Beatles reached their height because of their pop songs. She Loves You Yeah Yeah Yeah which is a song for teenage girls made them one of the best ever not any song from Sergeant Paper.
I love how this list includes songs from all different eras, from the more recent 2000's, to the 1980's. "Girls just Wanna have Fun and" Billie Jean" may be oldies, but they're certainly goodies.
I mean the title says “of all time”
No. It does NOT. The Who. The Rolling Stones. Janis. The Beatles. Queen... If the claim is "OF ALL TIME" then they have to include the 50's, 60's, and 70's before disco. They can NOT make the claim when so much of the list is AFTER 2000. This list FAILS ... BADLY.
@@CatBuchanan well, it's about POP songs.... not rock and so on
@@admirnsiesi2244 yes but a lot of videos that say that just put old songs that were memorable not new songs that have made a huge impact

Christina Aguilera "Genie in a bottle " is an iconic song.
*EXACTLY* she did win the best new artist Grammy ijs

Agree
Indeed. I will go to revolution if britney doesn' exist in the top3 in this list.
PRINCE💜🎶
Yes! Lady Gaga is my favorite! I’m a huge fan.
Bad Romance, Poker Face, Telephone, The Edge of Glory, Americano, What About Us, Million Reasons and Shallows
Just dance paparazzi applause
Call Me Maybe and Bad Romance are two of the greatest pop songs EVER, everyone knows 'em for a reason.
plss not call maybe, but bad romance truly is
Being in Canada, we had already heard Call Me Baby on repeat for months before Bieber discovered CRJ and made it worldwide famous. It got so seriously overplayed, I can’t deal with it anymore
Call Me Maybe is iconic but not for this list
britney's toxic as well

Shake It off is a shit
For sure Toxic deserves a place!
i thought they would put Like a Virgin instead of Vogue though
When it comes to pop songs Madonna, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Backstreet boys were definitely the masters of that genre. I would have put also “hollaback girl” of Gwen Stefani and “ I wanna dance with somebody” of Whitney Houston because it’s one the greatest pop song of the 80’s.
Mad props for having the courage to make a top 20 list that will be so heavily contested… with how there is a one song per artist list, I think this was honestly well done. Our personal lists could have 20 songs by only like five or six artists (I know mine would lol). Well played on many levels! 👏🙌
My favorite pop song is “I Want It That Way” by The Backstreet Boys! I’m surprised to hear that it was # 10 on this list!
Mariah: Always Be My Baby>We Belong Together
Madonna: Like A Prayer>Vogue
Lady Gaga: Bad Romance>Poker Face
"Always Be My Baby" is my favorite Mariah song!
Thriller > Billie Jean
Vogue is arguably one of the best songs EVER, so I will disagree with you on that one. Agreed with the others.
Rihanna's umbrella should have been on this list
ye could have replaced katy perry that is not even katy perry's best/most popular single
@@ventrue7 Katy Perry is definitely the bigger pop icon, so don't feel Rihanna deserves to replace her song. Rihanna is a superstar for sure but not so much in pop.
@@tojin How is greatest pop songs of all time is related to which singers are more popular iconic or whatever .Also umbrella is def a more iconic pop song than california gurls but Katy has things like I kissed a girl or firework that can actually compete with that.

Billie ellish is gross!
To think that Max Martin is responsible for FOUR of these masterhits is insane (Baby One More Time, Shake It Off, I Want It That Way, California Gurl)
Add to the list "Blinding Lights"
Should've been toxic for Britney, bad romance for gaga and blank space for taylor
Style + Moves + Emotion = The King of Music Michael Jackson
I knew the top 3 🤩 The Princess of Pop , Queen of Pop and The King of Pop , period.
I’m surprised that Janet Jackson & Rihanna didn’t make the list
That's because Michael overshadowed her.
Ya but Rihanna is amazing!!

Adele, Britney Spears, and Lady Gaga should be on this list. Older artists and songs aren’t the only greats.
The greatest pop list won't be a greatest list without The King & Queen of Pop and The Vocal Trinity. The biggest selling artists in history!
ABBA’s songs are so catchy, I can sing and dance to it
Other good pop songs that have beaten the test of time are:
* Rhythm Nation by Janet Jackson.
* Umbrella by Rihanna.
* Barbie Girl by Aqua.
* The Final Countdown by Europe.
* I'm Like a Bird by Nelly Furtado.
* Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera.
And wel... many, many others.
Britney Spears ❤️❤️❤️
Don't let the thoughts of failure stop you from trying, even when you fail, it's not enough to give up. The light bulb itself, finally found success after so many trials.
You should have included "Tik Tok" by Kesha at least in honorable mention
Poker Face slayed the whole world💅💅

High School Musical (from “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”)

Omg Where's Bad Romance
Bad Romance is Highly Universal Acclaimed, This is very different from any Pop Song released this century
This is Absolutely the greatest Music +Video of all time, This song Pushing Boundary unlike other songs not
Dua Lipa Levitating Should Enter Top 10
You had me until you suggested Dua Lipa make a greatest of all time list 🤦🏽♀️ love her but no. I do agree Bad Romance to be more culturally significant than Poker Face however.
Everything from the '98 - 2000's like Britney, BSB,Mariah Carey, ,I Want It That Way, BOMT, WBT and many more was extremely amazing ❤️😍
Shakira, Shakira, Shakira. Love that singer, very original, talented and it is always refreshing to watch her videos and listen to her songs
Dancing Queen should be at least in the top 3. It's the epitome of the what a great Pop song is
Isn't it disco
@@AnonyMous-fs2gpnope, it's Europop
I Want it That Way is ICONIC! So happy it made the top ten, and I'm even more happy that icons like Michael Jackson and Madonna were put at the top! Well done MsMojo!
Would’ve replaced Shake it Off with Blank Space easily cause no song in recent memory has been able to take the media’s narrative and twist it, and make it such a big hit. The production on Blank Space is fresh, the melody is just absolutely catchy and the lyricism is some of Taylor’s best.
Ok but... Where is Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out of My Head"? This should have been a Top 30 list, honestly
I love Adele! She is my favorite! Someone Like You and Set Fire To The Rain are my top favorite
I don’t want to live in a world where girls wanna have fun is below bts. I know we all have different music taste but damn that’s a bop
BTS is not my kind of band...... But Megans butter rap is exceptionally good
Love the video .... Keep the music things coming
Rick Astley Never Gonna Give You Up legendary song did anyone catch the Animated music video last week it was worth it
Before I even watched the video I was sure that MJ would be No. 1. 👑
Janet Jackson is a glaring omission
Great list. I would add Straight Up by Paula Abdul. Classic pop song. She owned 1989 to 1992.
Levitating by Dua Lipa?
Complicated by Avril Lavigne?
Old Town Road by Lil Nas X?
Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera?
Born To Die by Lana Del Rey?
Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars?
Royals by Lorde?
Super Bass by Nicki Minaj?
Umbrella by Rihanna?
Smooth by Santana and Rob Thomas?
Happy by Pharrell Williams?
Get Lucky by Daft Punk?
Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO?
Candle In The Wind by Elton John?
Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding?
So What by P!NK?
Only Levitating is Qualified
How can BTS make the top 20 but not Rihanna especially with her song Umbrella. Well at least you got the top 3 right (not necessarily the songs but the artists).
BTS shouldn’t have been on this list at all - especially with their over products, over auto tuned song, “Dynamite.” Nothing unique, nothing iconic.
Same thoughts here i felt cringe
Rihana music not impact
At least Psy should have been here instead of bts

floppy perry
King of Pop, we miss you, there's no Britney or Justin or most of the young pop artist without the influence of MJ
There is no pop music without him. PERIOD.
I can not say that I 100% agree with this list. However, one thing is right: the top 3 is the real pop royalty - we can not deny it!
This list is trash. Where’s Rihanna?
I loved the song "I want It That Way", because it is one of my favorite pop songs ever. Sabrina Griffin
Of course the top 3 are the literal King, Queen, and Princess of pop! Respect the crowns! 👑
Exactly pop royalty at its finest The King of pop , Queen of pop and Princess of pop
Love, love the variety .. and the king of pop .. MJ .. this was very good .. pop is such a genre that is always giving .. kudos to creating such a well researched and edifying countdown List ..
I love Michael Jackson. Man In The Mirror is number one favorite
I would’ve chosen Toxic instead of …Baby One More Time because that was her game changing song that redefined her career! Also, if you’re gonna choose her debut song as her best pop song just because it started her career, then you need to do the same with the others in the list; very inconsistent if you ask me…
Another example is them choosing Single Ladies over Crazy In Love. They could’ve easily chosen the latter because that too is a great pop song that started her career, but they instead went with the latter because it changed her career. Same thing with Lady Gaga too!
@@morbeen4444 Crazy in love is more iconic and more successful than single ladies tho
And won her a Grammy
Baby One More Time was a cultural shift. And when the song hits at a club...YOu know who it is and what time it is. It literally takes you back to 1998. Toxic doesn't have the same effect.
"Dancing Queen" is great because dancing always brings joy!
Hips don't lie and Since you been gone ❤️❤️❤️
"Style" by Taylor Swift is Pop Perfection
No, not even close

ABBA hätte mit 'Dancing Queen' auf den ersten Platz gesollt. Für mich sind ABBA die Götter des Pops.😍😍😍
“Complicated by Avril Lavigne” & “Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera” should DEFINETELY have made it to the list. They were huge in the pop industry!
Genie in a bottle was heavily overshadowed by Baby one more time. Don't feel wrong that it didn't make it in the top 20.
Yeahh Complicated
Complicated is considered a rock song, I don't know if it would hit here. But I see where you're coming from, Avril's first album is full of iconic BOPs
Off all time, not Us
279: Katy Perry’s songs are my popalicious favorite! Teenage Dream, The One That Got Away, Roar, E.T., Hummingbird Heartbeat, Dark Horse and Firework
Taste! I like her song 'Tucked', 'Harleys in Hawaii' from Smile Album. Also her stand alone singles like Electric and When I'm Gone (with Alesso). ❤❤❤

I love Spiritual by Katy Perry. It's on my Spotify playlist
I was a high school student midway when the 90s changed to the 00s, especially when some thought about the computer problem Y2K; But a fact is where I live now is the birthplace of pop star/actress Mandy Moore. Before her iconic voice as Rapunzel in Tangled, she debuted in 1999 with her pop hit Candy. Listen to it, and you'll catch on.
Super bass by Nicki Minaj also deserves to be on the list..I mean that was a cultural reset you guys
Backstreet boys will always rock forever

Princes "When Doves Cry" should've been included
Or Purple Rain or Raspberry Beret.
Or ANYONE prior to disco. ABBA is the earliest group mentioned.
Exactlyy!
Genie In A Bottle was a 5 weeks #1 hit made Christina won BEST NEW ARTIST that should have been in the list plus Lady Marmalade Dirrty etc !!!!!
nah!!! yeah it won awards but it didnt make a lasting impact.
You are amazing
Not only the best pop songs is definitely Vogue by Madonna but do not forget INTO THE GROOVE or LIKE A PRAYER? Instead of Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue deserves top on Top 5 with CAN NOT GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD ... one of the most best pop songs ever written. Paula Abdul STRAIGHT UP definitely...

If there is no MJ song sitting at number 1, throw the whole damn list away.
Just came to see that Michael is on top. Carry on.
Very very nice music
Appreciate this is a near impossible list to compile. Personal takes on songs that deserve a mention:
Cry Me A River - Justin Timberlake
Can't Get You Out of My Head - Kylie Minogue
Tainted Love - Soft Cell
Take on Me - A-ha
This Love - Maroon 5
Hey Ya - Outkast
I Want You Back - Jackson 5
Umbrella - Rihanna
Angels - Robbie Williams
Kiss from a Rose - Seal
Sweet Dreams - Eurythmics
Tears Dry on Their Own - Amy Winehouse
You're telling me that the KING OF POP only had ONE song on here!?
Where is Village People?? Bee Gees??? Janet Jackson?? But you decided to include a disposable teen group with no relevance to music path or influence like BTS 🤦🏽♂️ Mariah Carey a living legend lower with a powerful song but you put Dynamite higher? Really MsMojo???
This is such a great list. Made me feel very nostalgic & I had to add some of them to my playlist since I haven't heard them in so long. Also, just a slight correction...BTS was ALREADY huge internationally it's just that Dynamite was the first song that most westerners who didn't know or cared to know BTS heard of simply because IT WAS IN ENGLISH.
"Moulin Rouge" Pink, Mya, Christina Aguilera, Little Kim & Missy Elliott. "Genie in the bottle" Christina Aguilera, "I gotta feeling" by Black Eyed Peas, "Happy" Pharrell, "Everybody" Backstreet Boys.
Prince, Rihanna, Tina Turner, Usher, Boys2Men, Bowie, Black Eyed Peas…. And if it is truly best pop songs of all time, Many one hit wonders. (Aha - “take on me” and Carly Rae - “call me maybe” would have to be listed if not mentioned)
How can you not have xtina’s “beautiful” or “what a girl wants” on this list as well as NSYNC’s “bye bye bye”
Well I feel old now. Brought back tons of memory sensations. Odd I still listen to those but never got this feeling.
I knew MJ will be number one. Who else deserves that position but Him
