That piece at the last place was gorgeous. That red and yellow and orange is really cool. The pieces you found at the last spot was fantastic. The huge nodule was amazing! And the polish job was wonderful. Thank you for the amazing adventure. It was pretty awesome!

Thanks for sharing! The large nodule you had cut and polished looks a lot like some of the larger agatized barite nodules I have found near Yellow Cat. We met in the Yellow Cat area last year. I would love to get together sometime and do some exploring down that way. Keep the videos coming!

There are indeed coprolites in Utah, about 45 minutes east of here
I love Utah! This location is definitely going on my list. Might even bump it up toward the top, because it's not too far from the location I'm heading to in a couple weeks. WOOOOO.
Have you ever been to a good place for Pigeon Blood agate? The first rock I ever remember picking up to keep, instead of throwing it into some water, was a single piece of Pigeon Blood agate. I was too young to remember exactly where we were, though.

For the most part, they probably are too fractured. May be able to find some smaller pieces that would tumble though.
What are you using to cut the rocks open when your out in the field
Another fun video. Do you actually find material that is worth of tumble polishing or too fractured?
Most of it was too fractured, but there are several pieces good for tumbling

Don't know much about the area around logan. So far as jasper, its not close but you could go here: 40.059132, -112.059401@@jasonhenderson5642
@@jasonhenderson5642 Good question. Most of the jasper areas I know are in the west desert south of Salt Lake, and out at Wendover. Pretty much everything around Logan is fossils and limestone, so you may need to get away from that area for jasper or agate. Going the other direction, I know there is good jasper in Jackpot NV but that is quite a trip. I will have to let you know if I learn of any good areas near logan for jasper.
