It's the way army doctors figure out who is malingering.....if a soldier claims he had a head injury from being hit by a board, and can describe the board coming towards him and feeling it hit him between the eyes, the Dr knows he's lying. I was a teenage girl who acted out because of what happened to me as a child but just like the defendant I did whatever I wanted to do even when I was aware that my mother didn't approve and wasn't okay with what I was doing but I still did it anyway because as a teenager I thought I knew better than she did and I thought I knew what was best for myself when I really didn't and I ended up pregnant at 17 years old.
