Dear Suzi I think you look absolutely STUNNING. In your beautiful silver~grey outfit , compliments your gorgeous thick hair! You may think you are “short” but spare a thought for me please. I’m all of 4’9” ( I used to be just 5’ but 20 yrs Osteoporosis brought that down!). Never mind , I’m a petite 10/12 size so can carry off my child-size well enough. I find you so inspiring Suzi. Hope your having a lovely time in Portugal, certainly escaped the weather, none stop rain. Jack looks amazing for 17, and is a very happy boy still. I loved those dungarees, that were in that shop, I'm looking for some , to wear in the spring. I recently bought a dress, very retro style, dark green back ground but what I loved is its got lovely dogs all over , I had to have it. Don't work to much while away you deserve the break.❤

I love your posts and look forward to them each week. It must be wonderful to live close enough to just pop over to another country for the weekend. I live in South Florida. The closest country to me is Cuba😁 I do go to the Bahamas. I have traveled to Europe many times and loved it. It involves many hours of flying but well worth the experience. I also love your hair and the bright pink lipstick you wear. You brighten my day.

Suzi, I feed my old boy (14 1/2 years ) completely on chicken (boiled ), tuna in spring water and boiled white fish, and tinned chappie ( recommended by vets), he has pancreatitis and can’t eat fatty foods, this has kept him pretty healthy. It’s difficult as they age, dear Jack such a lovely boy 💙🩵💙

Morning Suzi new jumper looks good love you in grey and your hair is the best colour keep it darker like that Suzi. Happy Birthday to Jack. Deco's look good just enough. May be a little darker grey eye shadow like I have said before might be nice try it again. Love the black stripped trousers they make you look thinner fit so well. Only this week took my daughter to have a look at her peicing in the top of ear( she had it done in Leicester City centre) well it had swelled so much couldn't see the back of earing, she booked a place in local town, which was also a tattooing place, they were so professional and cleaned her ear and replaced a longer earing and she's to go back in January, so hopefully it can be saved.

Happy Birthday Jack, glad you enjoyed your chicken…….as far as food I would let him each chicken whenever he wanted Susi……he could probably eat some cooked rice and carrots and chicken……….I was looking after a friends Shaky Cat a few months ago and when I ran out of the food her Dad gave me I fed her whole roasted chicken everyday, she loved it……….that Grey outfit looked lovely especially with the boots……I had to give all my Docs away as I have terrible arthritis in my feet , as there is just not enough padding in the soles for me……..have fun away…..❤❤ Donna in Toronto

Hello lovely, hope you are better with your fuzzy vision. What did the retinal specialist say? Glad you like the coat and yes better open. Thank you for all your lovely comments. Sox got the 2 legs from Jack’s chicken and has never come back since the 2nd one! She’s either hibernating or has gone on one of her trips again. She disappeared for 3 months last year. Hope she’s ok. Jack is well and Portugal was lovely. Big love xx

My sight in left eye has worsened said doesn't think surgery could correct it at this point, glad no surgery however same dangers of tearing from inflammation tugging on damaged area. Reducing frequency of anti-inflammatory drops see me in 6 weeks. There's tge good in the middle of the bad. We forge forward. Hope you're having a wonderful week!!

I'm struggling at the moment with hot flashes, some days are not to bad while others are a nightmare, and I've put up with it for about 3 years, hoping they would subside, I've been taking collagen ( not the top brand but middle of the range) I drink lots of ginger coral, an d various herble tea's, . I've not wanted to go down HRT route, but it's having a big impact on my life, I can't wear what I want to wear and sometimes don't go out as I'm to uncomfortable. You mentioned a few points in your book and have said that you did go to a hormone Dr to be tested. What in your opinion is the best way to go, ? Hi Tina, sorry to hear about your ghastly flushes. I’m giving you link to my blog on what to do for Menopause but if that doesn’t work I’d encourage you to see a menopause expert about HRT. It’s not what it used to be and if you Google Dr. Louise Newson you will see that she is the leading expert in the country, has written a book about it all, does regular podcasts and has trained 150 GPs! If I had gone on HRT at the right time I wouldn’t have osteoporosis so I urge you to see someone she has trained if your symptoms are still unbearable. My pup will turn 15 in March. She is totally deaf, blind in one eye with a caterac and partially blind in the other. Can Jack still see ok?
No Jack is nearly completely blind as well. Both eyes with cateracts but there’s nothing they can do and he is perfectly happy sniffing more and being led around by his lead! Don’t worry, dogs are amazingly resilient and adaptable compared to us! What a great age our dogs are! x

I also watch Jo Good, Middleage Minx and yes, she is also lovely and skinny and looks gorgeous in many outfits, but sometimes I think that she’s actually a bit too skinny. I actually think that your figure is better - this is just my opinion and I’m not body shaming Jo; I just feel that you are a better representative of the average lady.

I was accused of body shaming for showing a girl wearing so little at breakfast that I found it really offensive in a Muslim country. Nothing to do with her body at all. So you can’t win Carol and I suggest people who want to accuse us older folk of body shaming, when we’re just stating facts, go to a much younger Vlogger because they won’t find many people on here who concur with their ridiculous “body shaming” comments! xx
