  • @82stuntman
    @82stuntman Před rokem +8

    What a complete clown show. This EXACTLY what you get with Allied Universal. I've worked in security 8 years, armed, certified in, armed security, corporate protection, private protection, high risk security contracting and first aid. Allied actually hired me as a site supervisor, then 3 days before orientation called and told me they decided to hired 3 site sups and would make me one, but with 10k less per year. This company is an absolute joke like almost every large corporate security company. They buy up small security groups, run those contracts into the ground, then loose those contracts back to more professional and proficient smaller companies. They hire and promote based on equity over merit which lowers the quality of service every time. I want everyone to have the opportunity to succeed no matter their race, gender, religion. Thats what this country is about. But when companies focus on equity and looking more diverse over experience, certification, knowledge, work ethic, the quality of service suffers. When quality of service suffers in security and other public safety roles, people's lives are at risk. I've watched security companies hire and promote because they wanted a particular race or gender in that role and that is absolutely wrong. I've witnessed this personally more than a dozing times. I've seen companies like G4s/Allied ignore things certain people do or don't do on the job and fail to fired because they don't want a lawsuit. I watched a guard assault another guard, not only did the company not go after the guard that was guilty of assault but fired the one who got assaulted because he called the police after the assault. I watched this company ignore the assault because it was done by a black male on a white male.. I watched this company also fail to fired minorities because they feared a lawsuit. So what happens is certain people can come in late, no call no show, break rules, do whatever they want and the company will almost never fire them unless its something they can't brush under the rug.(isn't that right Mr. Sissons of g4s?)
    It saddens my soul to see this in our society. I work extremely hard as a security professional. I invest a tremendous amount of my personal time and money on courses, training, certifications to be the very best I can be in this field. I do this not only for career opportunities, but because I care about preserving life and the protection of others. I see over and over people like this girl hired into security. They brag about how they get paid to sit and watch vids on their phone. People like this, lazy, entitled and look for every opportunity to do nothing at their job. No professional pride in what they do, no desire to do more, to be more. Yet who do companies like Allied, G4s, Aegis strive to hire and promote? Often times, the ones that will benefit from the most equity.. its amazing to watch. So much opportunity given away to people who don't deserve it, while others strive to be the best, look for ways they can learn and do more and get passed by time and time again. Our country use to reward effort, hard work, dedication, professional responsibility.. Now, I'm on CZcams watching another perfect example of Allied/g4s. Stay woke Allied! lmao

      Big picture you got to realize a lot of these companies don't really want security we save them money on their property and liability insurance. We literally can turn million dollar insurance into $10,000 insurance because with having security there a fire alarm sprinklers cameras everything lowers their insurance cost. But what companies do is they try to get more bang for their bucks so they paid the security officers very low but they're not really paying low the client doesn't see it but on the contract side they usually paying about $29 an hour and you get the 1071. It's kind of like working for a temp service. Unfortunately allied is kind of bound until the contract expires to renegotiate for higher rates and if they go higher they'll probably lose the account to another security company. It's going to be very hard pressed for them to find somebody to work for that load rate and stay there consistently.
