The fact that this guy was very rich and yet a lot of us didn't even know he existed!🤣🤣
LOL!!!
It’s sad that he was so greedy
FR 💀💀🙏
Yeah, really
LAAAAAAAL
Is it really that shocking that a super wealthy person is involved in crime? You know the old saying: Behind every great fortune is a great crime.

Thank you for sharing this. I now definitively that owning a winning mega millions lottery ticket is immoral.
@@LiteraIIy_Nobody Do you mean know??
Remember when you start a company make sure you always hold at least 51%of the company so you have control
@ejuicevaper no you can't you you don't have the majority shares you can get fired
You really need to think about what you said you must not understand math and majority rule
@@jonathanhall1825 Dual-class share structures. Then you can maintain control with under 51%. Really like how mature your comments seem. Must you really demean others when making an argument? I think YOU don't understand common decency. By the way, I get to say that because you already established yourself as immoral and thus the same decency laws don't apply to you.
It's disgusting how some have been unimaginably lucky and/or been afforded every opportunity, while the overwhelming majority couldn't win even if they were the only ones playing! 🙄😖

Sometimes in the justice system, you can't buy your way out of jail, but it is so much easier for the rich to try.
With that kind of wealth he could of done so much good and still live a life we can only dream off. Being greedy was his downfall and led to imprisonment.
One thing you should correct SERGIO CABRAL was not just any government official. He was the Governor of Rio which is the highest office in the State of Rio.
If you want to keep your wealth, be humble, pay your taxes, and don't do like Eike. Basically, don't do stupid stuff
Point being, he got rich by taking risks. He lost it all for the same reasons.

Until I saw this (and new meaning of broke)
I'm gonna try to beat this guys record. My new dream is to become a NEGATIVE MULTI-BILLIONAIRE.
I thought I was poor with 500 dollars.
You meant 1.000 dollar in debt?

Exactly

Amen! People need to learn to earn. Ill gotten gains are the ruin of most.
This is why I fully believe it never pays to be rich. It's so easy to lose it all, to death or to other circumstances. It's better to find contentment with relatively little.
That's my motto, I just want to be able to pay my bills and afford all I need and the basic necessities.
That type of thought looks good as a social media post, but in real life it's flawed. It is extremely hard to lose it all at any point if you are rich, that's a low-class and middle-class risk. There are a gazillion holes in laws and society (some made by the rich themselves) that allows the rich to be "untouchable by monetary misfortune".
Also, money does not buy happiness. But it makes your life better, as it unlocks access to a lot of services and even more ways to get even more money, which brings happiness. That's the way the world works under Capitalism: everything is locked behind a price, even essential services. And everything prioritizes profit, so everything runs on more money than needed to run, to turn up profit. You got no money to pay the price for services, you got nothing.
No internet, no transport and no phone/computer already locks you outside of society: you can't research your rights, you become "an island" in political and religious influence, you can't be informed of the situation around you, you can't go after work, you can't get training/study for work, you can't communicate with people more than a mile away.. etc. You basically become a vegetable that will wither away on the next Winter if you can't pay these 3 basic services alone, and we aren't even counting food and having a home or not.
Our world is not a socialist utopia where basic human rights are guaranteed. Go get money! That's what you were born to do, that's the only way to stay alive, take advantage of everything and everyone to get off the mud, welcome to the machine.
There's a reason winners of chance games like the lottery always inevitably go broke within the year - or the first few years, if they're lucky. They quit their jobs, and immediately go on a crazy spending spree as if the money is neverending. Afterwards their whole lives are in shambles because they've alienated their loved ones on top of the financial idiocy.
You still die tho so nah. I'd rather be rich thanks.
@@zazzifizzle I DO NOT want to be a billionaire. There's a finite amount of wealth in the world, meaning that if I was making billions, it would be coming from people who were going broke.
Ge was given pretty much everything given to him to succeed and he still wasn't happy? Greed will get you everytime

God makes and breaks be humble folks,no matter how much wealth you obtain if humble bro best believe God will humble you.
This actually validate my theory that money/wealth is mentally toxic for you and becomes worse the more you have... and as that happens the risk of doing shady things increases that will put you then deeper into the pit. Makes me happy that I am just a chemical analyst who loves the job with awesome colleagues and having friends/family that cares for you, that is something (happiness) that makes someone rich, not the money.
Oh, of course, people without money NEVER get involved in anything shady 🙄. There are a$$holes in every walk of life, rich and poor. Some people just make excuses for crooks
@@cassieoz1702 I am not saying people without money "never" do that, it does happen there too definitely. It is more the chances when the rich does is much higher and damage can be more severe. >.
I somewhat disagree with your theory. Virtually every evil person out there is unhappy. Therefore, evil is caused by unhappiness. Unhappiness is caused by unrestricted desire. The rich are often evil because they do not restrict there desire. They always want more. Now, of course it is okay to dream. But it is not okay to put no restrictions on your dream. You need restrictions so that you don't get in the way of someone else's dreams. That is why greed exists. Those types of people were already evil. They didn't restrict their dreams. Their wealth just kept on growing and growing, since their was nothing restricting them. It is okay to be extremely wealthy, as long as you know when its time to stop.
@@LiteraIIy_Nobodyexpanding on that idea: Rio de Janeiro and most of Brazil is so miserable with wealth inequality that the rich get constantly reminded of how deep they can fall. So it's very hard to have a happy life when you're surrounded by so much misery and poverty. I'm sure that quite a few wealthy Brazilians feel compelled to strive for more and more money and wealth out of fear of how deep they could fall if they lost all the benefits that money buys them.

Before 2020 an individual could not declare bankruptcy in Brazil. Essentially if he had outstanding loans he owed those for life.

What I said was supposed to be a joke.
The Mercedes SLR Mclaren was later crashed by Eike's son as he hit and killed a cyclist on the road. He was never held responsible for it.
disgraceful, but not surprising 😔
By "never held responsible for it", do you mean that he was never brought to court for it, or that it was the cyclist's fault that he was hit?
I believe that the majority of "so called" billionaires have got to where they are by screwing over someone , at some point. Most people with major wealth have little compassion for those who have less. They lack empathy, that's why they are rich.
So true
Sociopathy is an integral part of many (if not all) millionaire/billionaire psyche, the only reason that it's not common knowledge is because they go out of their way to make sure they remain "undiagnosed"

18:25 The corporate jet company name isn't "Embracer", it's "Embraer".
How many people then went to jail based on his information ? Did the government of Brazil have to give him protection ?
Well, Brazil is a country with a very long history of corruption, if Eike Batista surprises you, research the "mensalão" and the case of the refinery purchased by the state-owned Petrobrás.
As for Eike's testimony, she helped in the federal police operation against corruption, called "Operation Lava Jato" and contributed to the arrest of the former governor of Rio de Janeiro. Sergio Cabral,
In this case, Sérgio Cabral bankrupted the State of Rio de Janeiro (overpriced works and a lot of corruption) and was photographed in a fateful photo with members of the Brazilian elite in Paris.
And now to answer your question with a sad reality, Eike's denunciation didn't help at all, because everyone arrested by the "Lava Jato operation" is being released. Luiz Inácio Lula, former president.
Involving in several corruption and financial scandals, Odebrecht, "Mensalão", Mafias, tax pedaling, "Petrolão". Who even almost went bankrupt in the state oil company, was one of the men who were

Why can’t certain men and women keep it in their pants until they’re completely single at minimum. Cheating always seems like more trouble than it’s worth.
Poor impulse control is a hell of a thing. also helps that a lot of cheaters operate under the notion they can explain away their suspected infidelity/ cheating as long as all involved never know the other exists.

WOW!!
It's so often said that a degree gets you on in life, but it's not usually meant as in you'll get a better jail cell 🎓😮🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣
In Brazil this law, to separate academics from ordinary criminals is a successful measure to prevent organized crime. The idea being, if you add a smart guy to low brow criminals he would conspirate with his cellmates to orient them on how to make it big once they get out. It also means rich people who are much more likely to have a degree never get to experience a real cell, so the people who introduced the law had most definitely secondary incentives.
