- Sweden's state broadcaster SVT has shared this video footage of the Eurovision 2024 stage inside Malmö Arena. It demonstrates the stage in action.
The design includes movable LED cubes along with LED floors - and the latest in light, video and stage technology. The stage rests in the middle of the audience and is shaped like a cross, “creating a unique 360-degree experience that the audience and viewers will get to experience in May."
Production designer Florian Wieder light designer Fredrik Stormby are behind the dreamy concept.

This is going to be the most modern Eurovision Song Contest, and will probably be for a couple of years. Just remember Sweden's hosting in 2016, it was way ahead 2015 and previous years and was still more modern than the contests held afterwards, perhaps until Israel's hosting.
2011 and 2012 were way better than 2016 tho

Actually both shows were made by German ARD/NDR and Stefan Raabs production company Brainpool. It was amazing for that time but that was 12/13 years ago.
My favorite stage is Portugal 2018.... idk why but the stage is HUGE!!! And I really loved Rotterdam 2021 ..... ironically the stage I diskelike the most is when my home country hosted ...Norway 2010

2023 was also mediocre. The stages used to look a lot better in 2011-2016. 2024 is good though.

Right before this light show they showed a video on the LED, in which the stage designers and the theme music composers talked about their work, so I would imagine this music is part of the soundtrack. My guess is that the second part is the winner's theme and the first might be for an opening film and/or postcards.
I love how the end of this music has the first sound in Tattoo, just like the stage ready sound in 2013 was like Euphoria. I also liked how the music theme in 2008 was Molitva.

Everything about this stage is PERFECT!!! THE LEDS, THE BOXES, the lights on the roof, the lights on the screen that gives the texture that represent the theme of the Visuals (Eurovision Lights), THE sound at the end that remind you of the Loren’s Tattoo intro AND THE MUSIC THEME that will be played at the winners walk. SVT GOT IT ALL!!!

The stage itself looks really high. I'm 1,70 meters, the stage looks like almost 1,90 high? In Liverpool the heads of the standing crowd came above the stage. I fear it may be the other way around now...? I hope I'm wrong.

Just looks like it. The stage is ~15% larger than the main stage in 2018 and almost 50% larger than the main stage in 2021

I still prefer the 2016 Extravaganza stage that Sweden presented to the world, the 2016 looks way modern than this one, this one looks like it was designed by IKEA.
2016 looked fine but was limiting. This will allow for more creative staging.

Those cubes are really cool, and I think some of the entries with a lot of concrete visual tie-ins could do creative things there. Off the top of my head, I'm looking forward to what Croatia, Greece, Ukraine and especially Ireland decide to use them for.
