Planning to buy that monitor this weekend.
Do not buy this monitor. I just got off the phone with tech support for Sceptre. Mine has a two inch blurry gray border on screen. No blacks at the edges. THEY KNOW. They know of the issue and according to them, it's due to "condensation moisture at the factory getting inside it"..THEY KNOW. Some are affected, some aren't. Wanna gamble? Buy one! Wanna stay working? Buy a different one. Repeat: THEY KNOW and still take your money.

Nice review. You should upgrade your room acoustics with some proper treatment like som rockwool panels. Forget about the egg stuff and foam. It's an old myth that it works.. :-)
Have you experienced any dead/stuck pixel on your 34uw100 unit? I just bought mine 2 days ago and after 1 day of using i noticed 2 tiny stuck pixels. Just wanted toncheck if this is a common problem for users of the 34uw100

Good Job!. I just bought 1 from EasyPC near SM north. I will use it for productivity and so far the experience was outstanding! No complaint at all. I am just hoping that this monitor will last at least 3-5 years. They should pay you a lot on marketing this. :)

Have a problem with vesa mounting since the bottom two screw holes doesnt fit vesa plates from loop monitor arms. Deep screw holes too. Anyone able to get this mounted on monitor arms?

i hope spectrepro release a colour accurate monitor for content creators, graphic designers and video editors. 4K 60hz 24" is ok to be honest. but this Ultra wide is ok. hoping for flatter version of this monitor

I checked this unit in store and I am not satisfied with the color and the curved. Maybe because I am used with IPS Panel, the reason why I am expecting the same quality. Now, I am still thinking about this. I am comparing this with LG IPS Panel same 34 inches but the LG is just 1080 unlike this 1140.
Yeah, if you're used to IPS then you'll definitely have some issues getting satisfied with this.

can you check what the freesync range is on this montor? you can find it in the "display" tab in radeon setttings. just mouse over the "radeon freesync" option and it should display the freesync range. thanks.
Unfortunately, I don't have an AMD card on hand right now to test that
@@TechBroll too bad, knowing the freesync range is kinda important. you don't want to get stuck with a freesync monitor with a narrow freesync range. kinda defeats the whole adaptive sync feature. can you check if it supports LFC (low framerate compensation)? i'm considering buying this monitor.
I found one panel similar to 34UW100 specs and it is made by samsung. I dug the info in TFT Central which has a list of nearly all panels available in the market. I assume that this monitor has the same panel as the Samsung CF791 has and in which has a freesync range of 48-100hz.
I also suspect other monitors like Prism+ X340 pro and Philips 346b1c to have the same panel.
@@louisanore6309 yeah, did some digging too. samsung's cf791 looks the most similar. also checked amd's freesync monitor list and the cf791 is there. looks like it supports LFC. wish someone would confirm if the 34uw100 does too. sad that reviews don't mention anything about freesync range.

thought it was the 30UW200 same as the one I just bought at first glance, still, looking forward for insights of this and the 1080p variant.
How is it compared to 16:9 1080P 60Hz?
@@agoogleuser9025 I personally don't have a 16:9 1080p 60hz monitor but I do use one at school, compared to both that and my old 768p 60hz this 30UW200 makes a day and night difference with its size, screen real estate, color quality and refresh rate.

I'm experiencing black screen / no signal from this monitor. not sure where the problem is. I just bought this monitor few days ago and connected it to my laptop (Asus G511JW). the 3440x1440p works when I set the display duplicate or extended mode. But when I try to set my monitor only as main display, it just turns black and I get the no signal message from my monitor. please help!
Nevermind. Resolved. Had to reset monitor cache.

@@TechBroll it's fine. So if someone doe shave a similar issue they can come to the comment section. I think the issue happened when I tried to switch to other resolutions lower than 344px1440 using HDMI. Sadly I'm still on a laptop. So I can't say for sure if this issue will happen using DP cable.
@@Psygnosis I see, that's true. thank you for sharing your experience. The good thing is that it is only 100hz so at least you're not missing on a lot with regards to refresh rate compatibility over HDMI
I found a monitor that had 200hz and is $250. Also by Scpetre.
You haven't discussed the refresh rate or how to turn it on when gaming and feedback.
You can easily change refresh rate via NVIDIA control panel. as for the performance I showed it on the video with regards to the differences across different refresh rates in relation to motion blur and that should give you an idea.
