- Today I'm giving you an awesome potato salad recipe! I have shown how to make potato salad in my full meal videos, but wanted to make it available here for easy reference.

Potato Salad
5 potatoes medium
5 eggs
1 tbsp salt ( for water)
1 tbsp chicken bouillon ( for water)
3/4- 1 cup mayo
1 tbsp yellow mustard
3/4 - 1 cup sweet relish, lightly drained
1-2 tsp honey
1 tsp Toney's
garlic powder to taste
onion powder to taste
pepper to taste
salt to taste

I made this yesterday and it's continuing to marinate in the frig fir this holiday dinner. I let my potatoes and eggs chilled bc u right, everything mixes better when chilled. Girl, that Duke's mayonnaise is the business. I use Duke's mayonnaise too and I always add a pinch of sugar in my mayo/relish/mustard blend b4 adding the chopped egg the potatoes.

I use honey mustard in my potato salad or Honey-Dijon which gives a very good flavor. It looks delicious.

Ok grating the eggs is new to me, going to try it. Red potatoes , Grey Poupon, celery, long onions, everything else I stuck to. I'm going to make it today July 3rd for it to be ready tomorrow. TY 😃 love your videos and gonna "experiment" some more with your other recipes. ❤ Tell your husband to stay out the kitchen while you are busy filming. 😂 He can wait or not to get the ingredients you are using! My Mom never wanted me in there while she was cooking and had very little patience to teach her kids 😢.
its impossible to keep him from boiled eggs if he is hungry 😂 my mom always let me come in the kitchen so she could put me to work! haha im glad you are getting to learn how to cook now!

Hello Happy Thursday, I'm new to your Channel. Hmm I been making potato salad for years, but never boiled the water first, can you share why you boil the water first? I never used Obey seasoning in potato salad either now that I may have to try, I do like to cut up my potatos first then add them to the water when I'm in a hurry , but most of the time I cook the Potatoes with the skin on first to keep the flavor in the potatoes. I also finely chop up oinons & Green Peppers , I use to mostly use Hellman's mayonnaise, but now I too use light Dukes or even a Mayo with Olive oil from Aldi's. But i still feel Hellman's mayo is the best. But others work too. I use a egg cutter. It does make the eggs look cute on top of the Potatoe Salad. LOL well TFS I look forward to checking out some of your other recipes. Have a Bless Day!

Other than I boil the potatoes while & use my own bread and butter pickles, this is how I do mine too. When ppl hear I use Old Bay, they look at me like I've lost it til they taste it. Thanks!
homemade bread and butter pickles sounds divne. also it is a good replacement for sweet relish.

I have an egg cooker. Makes perfect hard boiled eggs every time. I never cut up my potato’s first because it is too easy for the small pieces to become mussy. I use real onions. Never tried relish but might try it. Never grated eggs before not sure I would grate. Most likely would just chop up. I like using celery.
i have done that where i cut the potatos after i boil. works great. you can grate or cut the eggs.
Blessings Camirra, because of a gas leak I no longer have use of my stove. All I have to use for cooking is my InstaPot . So my question to you is do you own an InstaPot, and do you have any recipes for cooking in an instapot?

@@CamirrasKitchen I’ve never been able to eat boiled eggs, over easy eggs, only scrambled eggs, the first two I could never get pass the smell.
But you do go crazy in the kitchen, I only wish I could have some for myself.
