Who are some of your favorite Transformers characters with questionable loyalties?
Shockwave is only loyal to what is logical, the second he realised the decepticons never win he probably gonna dip XD
@@spacegoji1954 I loved how in the Marvel comics he took down Megatron because he came to the conclusion that it was only logical to do so.
Mirage was the first Transformer I got, the literal socko-economic opposite of me. Sleek lines, fantastic sculpt, fun to play with. As I got older, I realized he wasn't an Autobot because he believed, he was an Autobot because the Cybertronian status quo benefitted him and the Decepticons planned to Marie Antoinette mechanoids like him. While he disliked many of his colleagues, he knew the Decepticons would use and discard him, thus he maintained his red badge. At least that was my take on it.
And it's a cool take on his character :) I wish it all these motives behind why certain characters joined their respective sides were explored more across different media. It's a storytelling goldmine if you ask me :)

Mirage was my second favorite first was always Hound which is funny and all honestly i didn't now that happen in the comic so this new for me 😅😊
Yeah I guess that there was more than Meets The Eye to their friendship 😅 at least in the IDW comic!
i hope to see tidal fleet (energon mirage) in a future transformers series, i do wonder what energon mirage would look like as an armada and cybertron character, also hope to see Rychlík (female energon mirage) in a future transformers series

In the dark of the moon gsme on the xbox 360 he was called mirage and not dino
He even had the "cloaking" ability which allowed him to turn Invisible for a short while
And even in rotb mirage was made to be the Porsche because Porsche didnt want jazz to be the Porsche becuse he was a pontiac solis ONE TIME in the 2007 movie. Oh and this mirage makes holograms like hound instead of bring able to turn invisible

mirage being a traitor was used again in rid 2001, also energon mirage is a decepticon that turned into a speedboat and was origianlly tidal wave, mirage was gonna appear in transformers prime but didn't also there was concept art of what he looks like as a prime character and he made a cameo in rid 2015, dino appeared in the prime toyline but went by mirage and was called mirage in the dotm video games, mirage appeared in the beast machines toyline as a villain
OK now I'm gonna have to Google all these versions. That Prime Mirage sounds interesting 😅

i hope mirage's prime and rid 2015 designs get used in a future transformers series, also hope to see Rychlík (female mirage) in a future transformers series looking like prime mirage and rid 2015 as a female, along with hoping to see skidmark (decepticon counterpart of mirage) looking like prime mirage and rid 2015 mirage with beast machines mirage colors (beast machines mirage is a villain and was gonna be called skidmark), as well as hoping to see crasher looking like prime mirage and rid 2015 mirage with gobots crasher colors in a future transformers series
Years ago I actually made a female version of Mirage out of the original red diaclone Mirage. Called her Speedway :)
You forgot Vehicon General Mirage, probably who RotB Mirage is a reference to as he appeared in the 1990's BotCon fiction alongside Apelinq.

i hope to see dino as a prime character in a future transformers series, along with seeing counter arrow (female dino) in a future transformers series, also hope to see insector (decepticon dino) in a future transformers series, as well as seeing Kossetsu (female decepticon dino) in a future transformers series

Oh I didn't know that was the reason why the porsche was Mirage in Rotb....it was so frustrating to have the porsche be Mirage and Blitzwing looking like a dead ringer for Starscream in the BB movie. Throw in Dino to the mix and its one big ball of confusion and frustration for us fans! 😢
@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf yeah and according to paper plane's video on rotb, the porsche was only in the movie becuase they got a good contract with money, shame too cause jazz wouldve been perfect in mirage's role in the movie
and well atleast with blitzwing his name is never said in the movie, only in merch. so there is a chance if slight for a proper blitzwing to appear in future movies
@blastbot7339 true....but why model him to look so much like Starscream? They could've designed anything. Also how frustrating that porsche wouldn't let them use Jazz because he was once a pontianak solstice. But that was because they didn't allow porsche to be used in the first place 🤔
@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf the bee movie was originally meant to be a prequel to the 2007 film, then mid-way through production it was to become a reboot, so youve got stuff like a agent Simmons reporting to John Cena in one scene and Megatron not showing up at all in the bes movie and new scenes like the entire Cybertron opening scene, end scene with bee and prime as more autobots are landing on earth etc. Well around before the movie came out there was a comic meant to be a prequel to the prequel, in that comic you had bee, some other character who's bee's friend and a bunch of decepticons, one of whom was blitzwing, with the ending being an explosion with blitzwing being the only con survivor and swearing he'll kill bee and bee's friend's fate being left ambiguous. And if you listen closely in the bee and blitz fight blitz at one point says "you'll die screaming, just like your friend-". But since the bee movie marks bee's first ever arrival to earth that comic also had to be rendered non-cannon to this new saga
So the movie has some remnants of being a prequel with marks of being it's on saga being added after the fact hence why there's some iffy bits, and the blitzwing model might've been done to save on time and money since he was just a slightly modified seeker design from the opening scene
@blastbot7339 and that's the problem they should have committed to it either being a prequel or a complete reboot. You just end up confusing everyone if you come in wishy washy from the start...appreciate all the backstory! Was kinda familiar with their non-committal plan for a prequel or reboot. But I never really ready any comic related media so thanks for that! 👍👍👍
