You recommend me to visit this place??? No, I don't want to go. Ha..... I'm a tourist guide since 1998. This place is where I have to take tourists to visit at least 3 times a week. Anyone ask me to go, I feel like to have to go to work. Ha..... But it's really beautiful. I never bored of it (if it's not hot and humid) Thanks Dave. I'm happy to know you like my country. Have a nice day and stay safe !!!

When I went there, the policeman in charge showed me to a special area at the front where monks sit so I could pray and meditate. I’m not sure why, because there is no way he could know I’m an ex monk. I really love the way Buddhism is woven into Thai daily life. 🙏🏼

I'll be a monk next life too. I sense it !!! By the way, he is NOT a policeman, Sangye. That's a uniform of the people who work for the King. I agree it looks like a police uniform. Thanks for watching my vid.

I visited the Grand Palace in 2019 and loved the Ramakien Galllery and its amazing wall painting extending along the entire walls, depicting one of the Oriental classics - elephants, deities, battles, palaces - all depicted exquisitely. It was slightly disappointing going in to see the Emerald Buddha (really made of jasper, a semi-precious stone, I think) as photographs are banned. You can always buy postcards anyway. It's well worth a visit.

Since I was born, I eat rice and I just started to know how to eat bread with meat when I graduated University. Since I was born I have the King and I saw the Royal monarchy help Thai people on TV every day by 8.00 pm. I'm not sure where you're from but I believe you didn't eat rice since you were young. What I meant is we're all different. It's hard to understand why we Thais eat rice with spicy food by breakfast. I'm not surprise why you don't understand the Monarchy. It's just different life but I totally understand you. If you were on tour with me, I'll tell all about Thailand. Thank you , Robert. Have a nice day
