I will forever argue its description as an RTS is deceiving but I will not deny it is a well-made, fun, fast game...but I'd also say the same thing about Footman Frenzy :D

Can’t say your take makes much sense to me. I’ve played RTS since I was a kid and this game feels familiar to me right away. I’m struggling to think of a game that I’ve ever played that feels more similar to BA to me than SC2 does, even if these two games are incredibly different at the same time.

Footmen frenzy, literally. It's taken the feeling of the control of the RTS we love and taken out any base building elements and reduced decision making (to make workers or not, where to make your next base, sacrificing a unit for scouting since it alerts you to expansion or tech, etc etc). And it's great to some people, but calling it an RTS is going to get a lot of RTS fans going "uh, I guess". Some people agree, some people disagree!
