How did REZZ blow up SO FAST?

- In recent years, REZZ has become one of the biggest names in dance music, landing headlining slots at major festivals, collaborating with heavyweight producers like Deadmau5 and Zeds Dead, as well as early involvement with the mysterious producer known as Deathpact. Her rapid rise to success is unmatched and wildly impressive. I’m not sure if there are any other artists out there who have seen major success in such a short time frame after they began producing. Her sound is unique and instantly recognizable, and her hypnotic branding pairs perfectly with her deep granulated bass lines. If you clicked on this video then you probably already know all about her music, which is why in this video I’ll be covering some of the lesser known things about her, and how those things contributed to her becoming the successful artist she is today.

I mean i dont know how long youve been raving, but Bassnectar RAN SHIT when i was getting into the scene as a kid. Not saying I think the allegations against him are cool. But look at wolf of wall street. Would you say Jordan Belfort is a great guy? Probably not 😄 but is a film about the crazy antics surrounding him entertaining? I already loved her music, but Im an elder millennial, so I'm a bit late to the party. Spotify kept suggesting a Rezz playlist based on what I listen to - and I have good taste in music, so I have discovered a lot of great music that way. Also, I was intrigued by the hypno-goggles. I have been playing her music ever.
However, now I have seen this video as and understand her background, and I understand her better - I really respect her as a person.
Crazy visuals... Good fkin music. FIrst song I heard of her was with Malaa. And her signature was strong in it. Made me want to listen to more of her songs. Didn't disappoint.

Saw her live when she opened for Madeon, had only listened to her earlier that day so I knew what the opening acts were like. She did great, but the crowd was so dead (I dont know if this is a general thing, but most concerts I've been to have not been enthusiastic for the opening acts). Rude! I managed to talk to her very briefly after the show, she was really nice, from what I remember. I'll keep an eye on her work in the future.
Oh no way, I didn't know she's opened for Madeon before! Yeah unfortunately some people don't care about the openers, but I've found some of my favorite artists from them being openers
@@audioeats I'm sorry, I completely misremembered who was who. It wasn't Rezz at all, I've never seen her live, only her Secret Sky set streamed when she performed on that. The artist I spoke to was probably LP Giobbi. Totally different person.

@@JakeBlakeCatboy None of them are officially released tracks, they're all from a music service I use. Except for the very end of the video I use a clip from Rezz's song "Relax"

Stop leaving out Bassnectar having her open for him he did that for so many DJs you don't have to like him but tell the truth
I don't think that's relevant in regards to her come up though, that didn't happen until 2018 and she was already getting a lot of attention as early as 2015. By 2018 she wasn't some undiscovered artist that Bassnectar thought he could help out, she already had a big fan base which is why she was on the lineup, because she could sell tickets.
Then why open up for him if she was so huge already? And his tickets sold no matter what, just curious not hating. But regardless keep up the good work
He was bigger than her back then - it was a good opportunity, but I wouldn't consider it an integral part of her come up, I don't think she had a massive uptick in following as a direct result of that support slot

She was blowing up in 2015 before anyone even knew what she looked like... She makes dope music and her branding is better than 95% of artists out there. She carved out her own lane entirely.
