I'm impressed how fast changing the front pads was, even though it was longer than 60secs. It takes me longer than that to remember where I left the wheel brace

Great video chearlue is learning well doing rear brakes I like what you guys do before selling a car you fit new cam belt and water pump thats brilliant save new owner the worry of it snapping lots of people women etc dont even know what a cam belt is si they would not bother getting one repkacexd well dobe to you guys cool stuff

It's good that charlie has a specialty in painting wheels, there could be some money in it, refurbing alloys as a side line.
If we ever get a premises one day id love to get the equipment to powder coat, its so much quicker.

Sorry for the delayed reply, this link is the one we use.
There are cheaper ones but they only do 430nm of torque and this one is 700nm, its well worth the extra spend.

You should never jack the vehicle up on the axle beam..they can bend ,

Correct, the beam is not solid and can flex, its a pressed steel single plated beam. This car will now wear the rear tyres on the outside edge due to the slight bowing of the rear beam.
Very rarely see a Fiat here in Ireland.....they got a bad reputation in the 80s......running joke was Fiat=fix it again tomorrow, are they popular in Scotland?

Have never seen such a build up of rust in a car ,those hubs look a state, remind me never buy a car in Scotland, whats with all the road salt.
They tend to look worse than they are with surface rust, we do get a lot of salt up here.
Used to buy a lot mainly in cities in England mostly small stuff toyota yaris and mirca for years got to know the hot spots for rust the Pennies and of course Scotland the south did not suffer as much.
