    Hi Lucy! Your Everest base camp video popped up on my feed recently and I immediately subscribed! Watching that video made me realize how long its been since I've really gone somewhere that makes me feel so small and grateful. I was wondering if you had any residual feelings upon returning to the UK- theres nothing like some massive mountains and a culture shock to whack ya with some peace and perspective!!!! Thanks for giving me a little peace and perspective vicariously. You're great I cant wait to now binge all of your videos!!!

    I also wear gloves in my garage gym as it is freezing. I used to be a lollipop lady and even with 3 pairs of gloves on my hands were freezing holding the metal ‘stop’ pole for 1 hour.

    Sounds like altitude flu 😓 I always get sick coming off altitude camp, despite the fitness gains! Hope you feel better soon and good luck with Lanzo Marathon!

    For running routes that would be a mixture of roads, canal paths, and sometimes fields would you recommend normal running trainers or trail running ones? Not sure if I’ll be okay with regular running shoes on the slightly rougher terrains

    Your videos make me question of i should pick up running as well to aid my fat loss journey next to CrossFit. Hope Nepal was amazing!

      running isn’t the best for weight loss in my opinion. it raves your appetite and its really hard to do in a calorie deficit

      Any high intensity exercise makes you hungry.. at least in my case anyway. I eat super low carb, but on running days I take complex carbs and some extra protein directly after the run, which seems to satisfy the increased need for fuel and prevents me from being super hungry the whole day. But anyway, in terms of hunger it doesnt matter whether I do HIIT or go for a run..

      @@mvers6671 Explains why I am so damn hungry after training lol. I also dont have the condition to run longer then 15 minutes max so maybe I will just keep focussing on CrossFit for now, which I enjoy doing.

      I’m actually smaller than I was 2 years ago so not sure where you’ve got that. However, I think if you actually watched the video you’ll know I’m not intimidating 🙂

    Great training session Lucy, I like your style.. I'm training, when I can, for a 5k run next year.. but I never had any idea how long a mile is.. it can only get easier to do and with your advice I'm sure I will be on the start line..🌬🌪🌜🌈🌡👀
