The reason why the bottle is designed as it is, is that the Japanese didn’t want their kids swigging large amounts of the drink at once from bottles as it was incredibly bad manners. So they put the ball inside which prevents you taking large gulps.

LA is unreal been a few years since I’ve been there miss it! Used to be a great place near Santa Monica beach called Cha Cha chicken which was BYOB incredible value, if it’s still there definitely recommend checking it out!

Some rice and meat compressed in to a ball and then placed in to a sheet of seaweed is extremely technical, I'm guessing at least 10 years of training under one of the last surviving rice ball masters in Japan. Maybe 15 years if handling wagu.
