- Over the last week of January, I had the opportunity to visit Threshold Aviation in Toronto, Ontario and get some hands on stick time with their AMAZING 737 Simulator. This was something I had always dreamed of and I can't begin to thank the community and supporters for allowing me to do something like this! I am pleased to offer anyone interested in trying the SIM for themselves, the code CPTCANADA737 on the Threshold website (www.thresholdaviation.com/) or over the phone to receive 15% off ALL Simulator packages.
A special thanks goes out to Dan, Greg "Smitty", Ravi, Kevin, Matt & the entire staff at Threshold Aviation. Thank you for making us feel as if we were at home! - Hry
I still can't believe you have eyes on your head.
LOL, Best comment I seen so far.
LMAO.
I did the same thing in an A320 simulator in Denmark - I love that you share so it shows that flying a sim on a PC actually gives you alot of knowledge, when you transfer it to a real-sim.
100% agree with you! Glad you're enjoying the series so far!
I'm impressed Captain! Nice job buttering the toast. 👍
I wouldn't go out during all my life if I had such SIM at home😅
You’re in good hands with two captains at the helm.
Absolute professional landing CPT. Very nicely well done. Buttaaaa
Super impressed man. Keep it up.
Amazing experience!
That's awesome Kyle. Congrats on a buttery and smooth landing. I did something similar once in an A320 sim in Cracov. So much fun. All the best to u friend and greetings from a q400 flightdeck =)
Awesome Cap, watching now! You lucky SOB!! :-D
Love these vids
I just noticed it’s very rare to see a pilot in short trousers 😂
ever heard about 'paradise barefoot pilot' ?
Nice video Cpt!
Very nice vid keep up the hard work!
That simulated butter tastes so good!
Beautiful landing Butter
Amazing!
I would have died laughing if you had sunglasses with the lens popped out lol
Great video buddy
Great landing as usual 5EXY
“Hello, this is captain chromebook and today we will be flying in an Air Bus 373-0800 Embrarer jet. We will be landing at Toranti airport, the ICAO is ZYYC.”
I went to the same simulator in the summer and flew from Orlando to Toronto
Captain Canada...I would be proud to know you were on our flight cuz if the crew became incapacitated, you could do it..you nailed it like the pros, way to go. The trim sounded like you were at a casino and just hit the big pay out! lol.
Lovely vedio I now really want to go in a full motion simulator
Another great episode! Great job landing Cpt and FO Smitty! Can’t wait for the next one
this just proves kyle could easily take on a job at ACA. Hire him! LOL :)
Really cool...
Amazing
Ready for the real thing cpt
So the cap'n ain't much for small talk, eh? Let the flying do the talking, I always say lol
Love your channel bro
Nice!!!
Still amazing
“Hello, this is captain chromebook and today we will be flying in an Air Bus 373-0800 Embrarer jet. We will be landing at Toranti airport, the ICAO is ZYYC.”
By the way, the video was amazing. Keep up the good work
Awesome 😎✈️✈️✈️
This is really cool. I'd love to see how it looks somewhere like LOWI.
Was there other traffic in the sim, or only your plane?
Episode #3 Circle to land runway 08 LOWI
Thank you for this! I keep learning and understanding more, just watching you do flights. What would you say is the hardest thing to get used to, going from a PC sim to a realistic cockpit?
The control services and flight model. Hands down the hardest thing to get used to! Glad you're enjoying the content dude!
Absolutely! Bam, there's the first surprise; I wasn't expecting the flight model to be so different!
@@CptCanada I had a blast in that sim too and that the things that stood out were how really stiff the throttle quadrant is compared to mine at home and how different the pedals feel to mine. Plus that parking brake isn't just a switch on the pedastal! Anyway, cool video. IIRC the cockpit came from United and was taken out of service after 9/11 because it had 911 in its registration, but I could be wrong.
So good capitain
awesome once again. DO you think flying the zibo for the last month helped or hurt your initial flights?
Helped for sure!
Butter
What, no replay of the landing?! lol
And your vids in general
How come the yokes didn't move themselves when in autopilot. I thought they were meant to?
Was at rugby training so I missed it but great vid
Charlie Lythgoe rugby is the only valid excuse for missing this 🤣
Jaime Blanco Pinto yup
Sounds like the nose wheel tiller needs some oil squeaky
Which program is running the sim?
Is this a full motion simulator
Captain will you do the same thing on airbus simulator??
Hopefully one day!
He can even butter it in a real sim
Hopefully u get a Canada airways job by 2024
Well technically most of them are streams
If you didn’t know you just flew over the simulator in the simulator.
Yessir!
What sim are they using? P3D?
P3D for scenery, external Flight Model
Anyone else getting headaches due to these high pitched sounds in the background :O
So is this a NOT FULL Motion Simulator, but not bad and $129 per hour is pretty cheap. As usual the graphis are plain jane, but that is becuase pilot use a sim to train, not sight see. Nice shorts.
0:39 ........ OMG ... That LAG /STUTTER !!! Just Horrible !
Why you don’t become a real pilot ?
Insanely expensive in Canada to get your ATPL
