Our personal story
SEE video link • WE CALL Ajijic / Lake...
My wife Lori and myself sold our home and our business in Hawaii and in 2006 we became homeless. Our goal was to travel around the world and "living the good life" are basic philosophy is
Fly First Class but PAY Coach Price "
We have enjoy our world tour of 37 countries in the last 25 years. In 2012 we returned back to the big Island of Hawaii and bought a small cottage. For 2 Years we using Hawaii as our home-base.
I think you nailed it Jerry. These are very nice examples of rentals and the neighborhoods they’re located in.
The two bedroom with a pool is a great value. I have seen some Chapala area real estate that seems to stay on the market and others that sell fast. I think sometimes they price it high to see if anyone will pay that much and then take it off and drop the price but it is still overpriced. I am sure that real estate agents would not want it to be seen but it would be interesting to see similar homes priced very differently.
Great video that shows Ajijic and Lake Chapala in such a beautiful Light… ✨🙏🏽✨
We agree!
Wow. 950 dollar rental. Great place Jerry. All rentals you are showing are great. As you know I first came to Ajijic in 2019. And La Floresta too. I lived there 2.5 years. You hit a grand slam with this video and knocked it out of the park. Thanks Jerry
Oh wow!
boots on ground is priceless
Those rooms are nice. Not bad prices compared to living in New York or Los Angeles.
Loving this style of videos! thank you for sharing this. Im looking to relocate to Mexico and this helps to have a better understanding of the area. More please!! Bless.
Glad it was helpful!
There out there you have to look around, ask people
It was so nice to run into you in the plaza a few weeks ago . I’m Toni’s friend from Dan Diego. Beautiful properties you have shown. Thank you 😊
Oh thank you!
7:46 That's the hotel my wife and I stayed when we visited a little over a year ago. The rooms/decor are a bit outdated, but it's still nice and we had a great time.
The Rents are Crazy in Puerto Vallarta,, keep well
I have been in PV for 8 years, and expats have moved in by the thousands, forcing rental and real estate prices up dramatically
Hola, great finds….. thank you !
Thanks for watching!
Love your walk videos showing the neighborhoods. You know every neighborhood, nook and cranny In Ajijic.
Yes I do I will walk between 3 to 5 miles a day so I covered a lot of neighborhoods.
The neighborhood seems safe and quiet. I like the 1st apartment for me because I m single and not wealthy.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! And being a subscriber for one year.
Hi Jerry, New subcriber...I love your viseos on rental properties...I really like that your showing us the lower to the higher price rentals in apartment and houses In different areas...Please..keep showing us what's out there in Ajijic...it really helps us to decide ...Thank you
Thanks for the sub!
The rents and the properties were inexpensive...they have increased ridiculously, if you compare them to how much the average Mexican makes..they are expesive even for those who make dollars..greetings from Souther Ca.
This prices are more then in Texas or New Mexico
Why if over here it’s dollars paychecks
And in Mexico it’s pesos it should be less leaving prices
I just checked 2 bedroom rental houses on HAR in Katy, Tx, an average suburb and you are talking $1500 minimum plus high utility costs! You can easily do less than that even in high end Ajijic.
In the slums of Texas and New Mexico maybe.
Hi Jerry, I would like to know about renting monthly verses a yearly lease. Are there a lot furnished rentals that that are month to month in Ajijic or Chapala? Also one other question. Are there a lot of barking dogs in Ajijic or Chapala? It probably depends on where I rent. Would a gated community be more quiet? Thanks for your wonderful informative videos. Blessings, Cindy
The difference between a month to month and the yearly rental with a month-to-month they may ask you to leave and only give you 30 day notice with a year you're guaranteed your one year and your rent would stay the same. Mexico is known for its barking dogs in a gated community do you have a better chance of it being quieter.
538 sq ft? It looks more like 700!
Wonder if there are small studio apartments walking distance to stores? $250-300 mo? Or have you seen a rooftop studio?
NOT in Ajijic maybe San Nicholas 5 miles outside of Chapala
Hey Jerry, Ill take the one for $950. How can I talk with you?
Hey Jerry, do Expats move to ixtlahuacan Jalisco? How close is it to Lakeside? What are rents like?
ixtlahuacan is about 15 miles from Chapala I think this area is a future area when Lakeside gets overgrown there's a lake about 10 miles away from ixtlahuacan and I think more expense will venture towards the lake. ixtlahuacan it's a very beautiful little town with a lot of potential rents in that area would be anywhere from $500 up
@@JerryBrownTravels is this an area you might do a video on? Or have you already?
Nice places for the money? What are your suggestions on how to find them?
Which ones?
@@JerryBrownTravels I was just thinking in general how to find good rental houses.
