Seems like good software, however, one major thing it's missing that is a deal breaker, is ability to display daily bookings while blocking staff accessing customer data export and other administrative tools of this platform. In other words the business owner must hire a receptionist to run the platform, whereas if the above security measures are implemented, the staff themselves could see their daily bookings and check out the clients.

One thing about MM that I appreciate is the CEO is a software developer and has been very accessible in regards to new features and their CS team in general has been great. They have also steadily added features over the past 2 years we've been customers. Definitely a good point to make to them. On the back-end, report customization would be a great feature to have for custom reporting and financial planning; I've got some minor gripes about how reporting is handled, especially when you run periodic info where prior employees have been archived so they no longer have system access, but then the numbers get kicked out of reports.

I agree, their CEO is super and overall support great. Good points on reporting and I’m sure it’s in their radar. Will pass it on to them 🙏

Hi there! In Mangomint, you are able to customize individual staff accounts to enable or disable the ability to access the client data export, sell products, check out appointments, update client information, and manage the calendar. Admins can choose how to set up permissions for each staff member to allow them to run the platform themselves or via a receptionist. Feel free to reach out in our chat support if you have any questions.

    Hello,
Just started watching your videos. I am upgrading from Vagaro and I am between choosing zenoti and mangomint.
One problem with vagaro is that it's not HIPPA compliant.

shame priced on the upper end. could have been a real option for many using versum, booksy, and other salon booking software.

You need to consider the time savings and value the tool brings. In my opinion, it’s not expensive if you have a team.

@@TheSalonBusiness I have a small day spa business, but I have quite a few contracted employees, that is to say, they work per service, not by the hour. This seems like a lot of $$ for me at this point, since my business is only several months old, but Square, so far, has not been adequate. Is there another software video you could recommend that I watch that might be a better fit? I need for my contractors to be able to sign up for flexible shift times (availability) and be able to see their schedules.

@@ellensackett Hi Ellen - I do have a list of all recommended systems here that goes into quite some details.

Understand cost is important to you and Mangomint is not the cheapest. But I encourage you to look at total cost (monthly subscription, card transactions etc.) as well as what you get for that rather then price alone. Wasted time and energy is also a cost :)
