LOL I have been waiting MONTHS for your reaction to Yu's performance here. Probably one of the best performances I've seen from these type of shows.
If i remember well, i think that Miraku is the youngest one within all the contestants ! And Yuki is not far behind him. Haru and Yu are such incredible dancers and it feels like they are shining like idols already !! I'm so proud of how they're growing !!
yup miraku is the only 2008 liner in this show thus making him the youngest

To be fair, we all thought the A2K theme song was a spoiler too, but that ended up not being the case (even though the singers coincidentally did make it). Also, I was pretty surprised Yuhi wasn't one of your picks considering that you usually go off about his cuteness every time he appears (more than the others).

Honestly I adore Yuhi! I think he’s absolutely adorable!! I think it was more based on what I’d seen from the first part. I’d pick him in a heartbeat but it didn’t feel like jyp would..

You can also notice yuki’s voice start to change between the final of part 1 and his first performance in 2nd part (also miraku is the youngest)
I noticed his voice is already starting to change a bit! It’ll be interesting to see how his voice sounds after it settles!
Said this on the first episode of NPS2, and here I am reminding you of it again, so you can observe each contestant's trajectory.
At the end of the day, some outcomes can be quite certain...
1. Contestants going the Mako route - Start out strong, finish even stronger.
2. Contestants going the Miihi route - Top tier early on, kinda fumbles later but still manages to make it.
3. Contestants going the Yuna route - Destined for greatness, but some things aren't just meant to be.
4. Contestants going the Maya route - Slow and steady, gets better by the day, arrives perfectly on schedule.
5. Contestants going the Mayuka route - My favorite: Practically 0% chance of making it, but through sheer grit and determination, defies the odds and makes it in the end.
Hope you keep track of them, and in the end see who ends up who among the five categories. The beauty of this show is that there were always twists and turns that end up surprising you, unless you have someone like Mako who guarantees money in the bank. Is there a Mako among the group? I'll leave that for you to find out. 🤔
I think akari should be the Yuna route bcs people were expecting akari to make the final lineup

Some I feel fit roles more obviously than others. It’ll be interesting to see who fits which route in the end!

Yuna has her own distinct route - Gina from A2K went exactly the same way. But in hindsight, I think Akari deserves her own: Had potential, struggled but strived, everybody expected her to make it, but fell short in the end.
I think Miraku is the youngest of them all? (With Yuki being the second youngest, but I'm not 100% sure and I'm too lazy to go look it up. 😅) Anyway, the three "Yus" are definitely an adorable trio, I love them all!
Looking forward to the other episodes and to you to see the performances of everybody. These first three were really good, especially Yu killed it.
And I'm really interested in how (or if) your prediction of the final members will change in the future episodes. Without any spoilers given, this first prediction of yours made me really smile.

It’s interesting that you say Tomoya and Bang Chan have similar characters. They have the same MBTI, and so does J.Y. Park as well as Gun-il (the leader of Xdinary Heroes). They are all ENFJ.

19:40 I think JYP added the health aspect because a lot of companies have come under fire for over working thier idols and JYP was one of the first companies(that i recall doing it openly) that started to give thier artists the ability to go on Hiatus and take a break if they need it.
I think he realizes that if they push themselves too hard they will burn out and need a hiatus too frequently and that is just plain bad for business and its not a good look if you are constantly having to announce hiatuses, so the idea of pacing yourself so you dont burn out is as much of a health concern as it is a business concern ya know?
Honestly I’m glad for that. Health is so incredibly important for the longevity of your idols..people need rest. I’m glad there seems to be more of a focus on taking care of their health.
