- My Dyson HP02 has been moaning at me for weeks to buy it a new filter so I finally did!
In this video I'll show you just how easy it is to replace the filters on these machines and give you some tips for savings some money when buying replacements.

I was getting a letter "F" on the readout panel on my machine with arrows pointing up and wondered what it was...it then dawned on me 'ah it must be the filter!' Didn't have a clue what to do about it or how to change the filter. I searched CZcams and bang, I found you and I must say a big THANK YOU for taking the time to show me and people like me how it is done.

Omg you are so great!! I have 10 filters in various homes/rooms. And I know how to change every single filter except this one. This one I have been using in my pottery studio for years and have never been able to change the filter. The one video I saw you had to take the whole thing apart and unscrew it. Boy I feel stupid now. Thank you so much for the simple video.

Mine doesn’t have the sensor there. Do you know where I could the sensor on other models? I changed the filter and I’m still getting the letter F in my Dyson

They aren't cheap over here either. I got mine in the Black Friday sale via the Dyson eBay store where they sell off the seconds. No way I could afford a new one from a store :(

What about washing the filter? I think Dyson has a recycling program but that’s a pain with shipping. I hate the idea of putting these gigantic things in the landfill more than necessary.
I think it would fall apart if washed
@@TheVintageApplianceEmporium No way, I’ve done it with smaller cylindrical hepas in the past. Vacuuming out debris and rinsing with water doesn’t damage the structure at all. The only question is how much it affects efficiency.
I’ve been considering buying one of these for a very long time. The humidifier version. Really put off at the price of them though, because my place gets very dry - especially in the winter.
Really want to see a video about the electrostatic machine... Please :)
Oh yes I've seen the humidifier version. Does that one actually filter the air or is it 'just' a fan?

Can you reset with out using the remote ?
Yes, I used my app to reset it, no remote needed.
