  • The verse 'Zvakarema rema sekufa KwaYeso' is telling us that this prayer journey is as difficult as Christ's final moments before dying on the cross. The following sermon is by the Anointed One.
"God spoke to us today. He invited us to Masowe. He has given us life. The coming of the star light is reflecting the coming of the works of the Holy Spirit. Had the people heeded God, the world would not have been destroyed during Noah's time. Worshipping God is about listening to the Holy Spirit and understanding what is being meant. Thus, the descending of the star light from Heaven is to shine a light on the path we are supposed to follow. So, if you fail to see the path you might lose your way".
The sermon continues and speaks of baptism. "There was a woman who said she had been baptised by Father Johane as a child. She remembers it being said that after Father Johane had left for his missionary work, people started to say that there was no baptism because the Holy Spirit had stopped it. But this was not true. There was no one worthy of performing it. So, even for us praying today, one must be worthy in the eyes of God. Imagine how many people have died and have left a legacy of having done good deeds and yet none among them have returned as angels. This means we are praying indeed but also going against the Holy Spirit. Thus, the star light has been sent to show us the way. The verse 'Ndinoda kutaura Zvakafira Yeso' is a verse which was sung to the Anointed One by an Angel and the verse is saying 'I would like to tell you why Jesus died'. He died so that people can have everlasting life. Our days on this earth are fewer than our days in spirit. Here in England, you find that where there is an old church there is also a cemetery. The people knew of the link between worship and spiritual peace. Death is undeniable.
"We are blessed here at Masowe because God speaks to us. I was speaking to a pastor from another church and he asked me whether we read the Bible in our church and I told him that the bible indeed is the Word of God. But there are some inaccuracies and omissions. Like students being taught by the same teacher, not all will pass an upcoming exam. Thus, those who wrote the histories are not immune to omissions. There are the Apocryphal texts and the excluded books. Surely, these omissions show of the hand of man. This means that there are some hidden things which we at Masowe are told and taught by the Holy Spirit. The white garment is a good covenant. One must wear them and say God I am now repentant and aspiring for purity of thought and action. So, again, God said the star light has descended to show us the way.
"There is God in Heaven who wants us to jealously praise Him and Honour Him. Even in exasperation, people tend to say 'Oh Jesus' but rarely do they say this when facing good tidings. We are not clever here on earth. We just have the illusion of free will. We certainly do not know when we will die. Thus, never leave your house angry. If you died in that state, you would reach the pearly gates in that state. It will indeed be an arduous journey. So, your journey to the gates should be accompanied with prayerfulness and the good deeds you achieved when you were living. Even those who will bury you will testify to your actual good and prayerful character.
"Let us yearn to be prayerful. We were loved by God who let us know that He is WORTHY of praise. When the Holy Spirit speaks, let its Words touch you. We are a blessed people. In this country (England), when it is Christmas time, shops and places of work are all closed. The people here know that it is a time of giving and they stay indoors with their families. The Holy Spirit loved us because of our traditions and culture. We should heed those. Forsaking traditions and culture brings calamities such as we are seeing in parts of Africa. People forget and our people like copying the lost..."
The Holy Spirit sings the verse 'Tinunure Baba kunezvakaipa...' which is a prayer asking God to deliver us from the evil that creeps up on us when we are worshipping. We should mend our hearts. When Heaven sounds the bell, where will you be? When the bell is sounded you will not be able to refuse. But it is how you go and how you arrive. There are people who lived and died in the 1600s, or the1700s or even in the 1900s but today you are still here. It means God has a purpose for you. Surely, a child was born today and died today. So where is it you stand today? We were loved by the Holy Spirit and thus should heed its Words.
    The sermon ends…
