Nga Toithong/ Spicy Rohu Fish Stew Manipuri Cuisine

    Ingredients:-
    Rohu Fish - 500 g (may increase the quantity as per ones requirement)
    Mustard oil - 4 table spoon (including for tempering)
    Garlic - 5/6 cloves
    Ginger - 50 g (small piece)
    Hooker chive roots - 2 plant's root
    Chinese Chives - some strands
    Fresh peas - handful
    Potato - 1 small size
    Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoon
    Coriander seeds - 1 tablespoon
    Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
    Asafoetida/hing - 1/2 teaspoon (soak in 2 tablespoon water)
    Fenugreek seeds - 1 teaspoon
    Chickpea flour/besan - 1 tablespoon
    Turmeric powder - 1 tablespoon
    Salt - to taste
    Whole dried chilli - 10 chillies (less or more as per individual's taste)
    Water - 2 cups (about 500 litre or as required)
    Coriander leaves - for agrnishing.
