  • in this video pre voice the pipes of the new portable organ I'm building for my friend. The final voicing and intonation will be carried out when the organ is finished.
I paused building my two-manual portative organ for a while because I want to finish this as soon as possible, then I'll resume making videos on building mine.

Do you have anything that could tell me the measurements needed for the different pipes? I want to attempt building an all-wood organ of my own, and I don't know how big the flutes should be for the best result. Any help is appreciated!

The flute register to have a full-bodied sound must have a rather large scale. I advise you to consult "the art of organ building vol2" there are various examples of scaling.

And what type of wood did you used? I can see a dark one

Hi thomas, I use spruce for the body of the pipe, the dark one is walnut

Ciao!

@@nippocast I don't know for sure, I've only heard of it. if I may tell you, actually the church organ that I have told you about, until now is not perfect, for example in winchest great there is still 1 empty slot, while the existing registers are: Rohlflote 8, Prestan 4, Waldflote 2, one empty slot and a mixture 1 3/5, while the new wincheast pedal has a 16 gedakht subbass, 1 empty slot, until now I'm still looking for references to fill the void I mentioned above. what I mean by corallbas, is it a combination of several registers or a separate register. please advise, oh yes, can I get a personal contact number, for further consultation, thank you.
