The complexity and depth of understanding that is required to do that job is astounding. It's truly breaking things down to their smallest part. Truly Renaissance men.

It would've been nice to hear the difference before and after each adjustment. Thanks anyway!

The Complexity of the Pipe Organ Voicing Process is Really No Different Than Pilot Training for Flying A Plane ✈️. Both are designed for Wind 💨 and Best Performance By Working With the Wind. And 🤔☝️A Huge Correction of the Size of the Bass Pipes Aren’t Just At 32’. Most Are However ☝️ There’s Some Pipe Organs That Have 64’😮Stops On Them.

Trust me, they wouldn't. LOL Organ pipes would not make good wind chimes.

Appreciate this. What are you changing at the Trinity organ? I enjoyed John's description of voicing for the entire stop ensemble. The celestes must be extra fun.

how do you figure out how to voice the pipe? do you play a note and tune it to that?

Well... in a way, voicing is kind of like surgery.
