Another upvote for the green claws - they absolutely needed the accent colour to properly "pop" - definitely worth the time. Love the "stretched" looking wing membranes too.

im a huge fan of avp/both francises that make it up. if I ever get into war hammer I would love to paint some xeno tyranids (and imperial guard as the avp marines would be easy and cool)

Aliens is the best in the series as you said. The army turned out awesome! Thanks for sharing the process. What I’ve painted of my Genestealer Cults army draws inspiration from aliens as well. I used gloss on the carapaces and matte on the underbits to differentiate the parts. Other wise standard black with grey highlights.

Agreed, Aliens!! That paint effect is really sick, and I love how the wings on the flyers look! Great idea cutting the heads in half, makes for a really unique army. Very cool to get some quality time with your partner doing the hobby you love too. Get her to have a chat with my wife will you ?? Nice Bane reference too lol 🤣 Awesome video man.

Tyranids was my beginning Army back in the 3rd Edition and i love them since today. I feel your pain batchpainting 100+ Models x,)
But it is so satisfying to rim the Base at the end and see how much is done.
For the Alien Movies, i love them all even the "bad" ones.
The first is good if you want Horror, the second ist the best for your popcorn action.

It can be truly said that Alien and Aliens are different beast. Both are good, but in different ways. However I like Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection, both not as good as the first two, but good no the less.

Was that black enamel primer? Please let me know, I've been trying to find a cheap alternative to GW primer
It's a gloss black primer from Halfords, unsure if it's enamel or not
@@elstonation cheers for the response....I'm in Australia, it's quite hard to find cheap spray cans that aren't enamel based but I love this effect, so awesome
