This really puts into perspective the warrior mentality it takes to play in the NFL. These guys are putting their bodies on the line every week, and a good portion of them walk away physically changed by the game. You always hear about guys making millions, but you often don't hear about the sacrifices made or the punishment endured. Hopefully Gurley can have a beautiful retirement and enjoy his life post NFL.

Todd Gurley didn’t have a long career in the NFL as he only played 6 seasons with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams and the Atlanta Falcons. This really broke my heart when he retired from football.

Would have loved to see him be a trindon but I want to say another Georgia football player pulled a muscle in track and it ended his 60m HH campaign while at Georgia early
